They're slow as hell. My friend had a 77 and it only ran a 10.1 in the 1/8th and it had a couple of mods.

That all depends on the year of the shark. That does look like a post '72 though. My dad and I are restoring a '70 stingray vert....let me tell ya...that thing ain't gonna be "slow as hell"

It still cool however. I think the C3's had some of the best styling.

Agreed.

Anything past 72' is going to be slow because of the whole emissions thing. But it could be made fast.

The only hang up I have about those vettes (other than the fact that a vette should be fast) is there's no room inside of them. I fit the entire spare motor, including head, stock down pipe, header, & cross member in the back of my 2gnt, and a set of spare tail lights & factor hub caps. Yes, the 17" 245's rubbed a little, but it was only because I was moving and ran out of room.

That car, would decimate all, IF you put ten, fifteen thousand dollars into it and got parts overnight from Detroit.

LOL. At least it's a car that side pipes would look good on. emoji

It doesn't matter how weak those cars are from the factory - and those mid-70s ones are quite weak -- it has a small block Chevy in it! You can do WHATEVER you want to those engines, and make it very fast.

Or you could have waited to install said parts until they're painted, but I understand. My cougar's still got a black fender on it.

Thats all I'm sayin. This kid around town has a talon and thinks it's an eclipse and was both front and rear bumper primered and on the car. Driving around for the last few months.

It makes my car look bad, but good at the same time cause EVERYTHING IS PAINTED emoji

I'm wasn't being an ass tho.

Lol, I'm just playing with you dude.

But, seriously, I wouldn't get it solely because I don't like the look of them. But if you like it, hey, more power to you.
