#8695, "Better than Christmas!!!"

So today started out shitty, wake up 630, take a 3 hr exam, pack, drive 2 hrs home, but then it got good. Here's what was waiting for me when I got back...

Star FMIC, RFL BOV, Tsudo 3" cat back, test pipe, Invader CF hood.
Now pray for me to pass inspection tomorrow so I can get to work on installing this stuff this weekend b/c I'm dying to get it all on there.

I'll keep this thread updated with pics, I figured the pits was a good spot for it since it's performance and looks but if it's in the wrong spot, then someone move it for me please.

One word. Buschur.

Edit: hold on a sec, do they make catbacks for 1g's? Anyway, Im sure you can get a pretty penny for the apexi if you sold it. You could then put the money into a better exhaust system. Ya know, something that suited your needs.

I would rather a dual tip that looked more stock, but I don't have the tools knowledge to do it, and I'd rather spend the money on more parts than changing a muffler, lol

Yeah it's small but I'm tired of the smic I've got now it just looks like ass. Hood was a toss up between invader and evo, I liked them both and got a good deal on this one.

Hopefully pics tomorrow, had to make the 40 mile round trip to inspection twice today b/c of an exhaust leak. As of now, exhaust is on and front bumper is off, still have to put the front mount and hood on.

Well the weekend didn't go as well as planned, but the exhaust and fmic are on, I just need to put the front bumper back on and get some new hood pins(my father made a little miscalculation and cut them a bit too short.) Oh and the hood got a few spider cracks from drilling it which is annoying but, I can't do anything about it now and they should be covered by the pins anyways.

Engine Before:

Engine After:

Exhaust Before:

After (I can't take straight pictures apparently):

OUCH!!! Poor Quality

I can't wait till I finish up and have it all put back together and cleaned to see the final product. At least I got to take it for a quick spin and it spooled so much nicer with the exhaust and no boost leaks.

Yes. A can of engine degreaser and a pressure washer go A LONG WAY. But don't just sray it on, hose it off.

Spray it on, let it sit. Spray it again and then wipe everything down. THEN spray it off. Then take an after shot. I know I'm SOOOO right emoji

Other than that, the hood; meh, not my style but I really like a carbon hood on black emoji

So far no problems with hood clearance on the stock hood, I'm not sure on the cf hood one, but I don't think so. I left the IC crooked though, lol.

I know you're aware, but get that IC straightened out soon, lol. Also, I take back what I said about the IC being small... fills the opening of your front end very nicely. Looks great man.

Now, just get rid of those horrid mirrors for some stock ones & find a 2GB rear bumper.
