#8099, "A smile is on my face, finally!"

Since the wreck I had with my car, things have been pretty gloomy for me down here. Now that I recall, I think I've deserved all of this happening to me. Cheated on my girlfriend after a year (we're back together now, long story), dropped out of community college because I want to pursue something else, got layed off a very well paying position at Best Buy & I've been a real dick to my parents. I am a very strong believer in karma and I think it bit me right between the nutsack.

Anyways, after being layed off, I was struggling trying to find another job quickly. Interview after interview, nothing was working. I finally just didn't care and decided to work under my friend at i'fratelli pizza delivering... pizza. Yes, I drove the 2GNT on numerous occasions, but my girlfriend allowed me to borrow her more reliable Jetta most of the time. Now that I'm not allowed to drive my car in the condition that it is in (can't represent i'fratelli in a wrecked car, it drives perfect though), I've been borrowing my girl's car all the time & I work 6 days a week. She has work as well, even college; a great girlfriend might I add. I make pretty good money delivering... I already have $500 saved up for a new 2G and it has only been less than 2 weeks. But my only problem now is, my parents getting on my back about my whole car situation and getting another job. They hate the fact that Nicole (g/f) allows me to drive her car to deliver; they think I'm using her. So, I've been looking around for a second job on my days off. Put in an application with Circuit City, called them up and got scheduled an interview for tomorrow at 3 o'clock. I'm quite excited about this as Circuit City has some good benefits and pays pretty well. I hope I don't jinx myself, but I really need this job. I can atleast drive my car up to work and deliver 2 or 3 times out of the week, instead of six.

I apologize for rambling, I'm just excited and needed to tell you guys.

Wish me luck guys, I'll need it!

Insurance hasn't taken it & I haven't gotten money, nor will I get money for it. My plan right now, is to save up and buy another 2G; most likely non-turbo. Then I'll part out silver, minus the front end, headlights, MSD coil & wires, GS-T muffler and intake. Or I'll just sell it to whomever, the engine runs fine, I'd probably sell the whole car minus the parts mentioned for $400-500.

However, I would only keep the front end on there if my next car was a 2GB Eclipse, but I would like to go with a 97-98 (with high-rise spoiler) Talon, either red or white. Slap my headlights and front end on there and snag some TSi sideskirts from a buddy of mine. Drop it on some Gram Lights and call it a day.

You have a GS-T muffler? Is it with the pipe I can just bolt on? Anyways, sucks, but maybe you'll get another car you like better.

I just have the axle back, bolts on with no problems. I have the cat-back piping as well & my factory axle back (muffler) sitting in the garage. I was just going to bolt the factory one back onto silver if I was going to take the GS-T muffler and put it on whatever new 2G I get.

I have a feeling my next 2G is going to be a hell of a lot better.

My friend who has the TSi skirts recently upgraded his exahaust on his GSX, so he should still have the stock exhaust laying around. I'll see if he wont let me take it off his hands and if I remember correctly, you reside in Texas? You could just pick 'em up so you don't have to pay shipping.

Yea, it won't bolt up to a 2GNT, Saikou.

Oh, I just thought the cat-back piping was routed differently; oh well.

But yeah, one of my rims are effed. Gotta get a replacement.

You have a nice car, but I'd want another manual 2GNT.

Who are you?

Nice mod list by the way. I'm digging the 15% tint and brushed aluminum dash kit mods.

Well I worked at both Circuit City and Best Buy while in college. Both were pretty cool jobs but Best Buy was better.

How were you getting paid "Good"?? No one besides GM's were getting paid good.

I used to install car audio.
$10.50 an hour seemed pretty good to me.
