I would seriously second think buying a used Evo. If you're dead set on getting a used one, make sure you give it a good drive first making sure that the clutch has some life left, check all the normal wear items such as brake pads, rotors, ect. And have it checked by a dealer/mechanic. From the dealer, a set of stock brake pads are like $200 so try to get as much checked out as possible. It would suck to by a car and then have to dump a bunch of money into it just for normal maint. item that should already be taken care of.
