They had the Evo X "concept" at the show- im uploading pics soon. Overall lots of cool stuff. Saw the saturn sky redline- looks pretty cool, but then again, it is a saturn. The dodge Challenger concept was really nice too. I'll post some pics later tonight. A few hummers with 28 and 30" rims as well were there.
EDIT- PICS...

I think with some better styling on the headlights and tails, it would look better. Especially the rear, those lights are too small, leaving too much dead space.

Otherwise, I think that the greenhouse, wheels, and bumpers look pretty darn good.

I don't like the Evo front. There's just too much ...emptiness. You can see that with all the honeycomb grilling in place.

Nice pics Evman.

I'm glad I didn't wait for the X. I don't really like it that much. I think it "evolved" too much, too fast this time around...

the Evo X is hideous. If it doesn't have a 4G63 and is that ugly, I'll get a Challenger instead.

I like it and why should it have an almost 20 year old engine?

Try again. It was in the Starion back in '82. And that wasn't when it was new either. I don't know exactly when, but sometime in the mid 70's or something. Anyways, I agree with Tony. I'll gladly pass up a X for a IX. The styling isn't bad, but it's going to be a much less mod friendly car. "Too evolved, too fast" - Quote Lil' T!

With Evo VIII's and IX's, not at all. One of my buddies is running 11.7's on his VIII with an upgraded front mount, HKS 272 cams, exhaust, the 10.5 cm hotside upgrade (stock on the '05's), and DSMLink (with a 2g ECU) (granted DSMLink does make a big difference, but you get the idea). He has stock injectors as well. With the IX's, it's even easier (yay for MIVEC!). There is going to be far less control with the X as opposed to the VIII or IX. It will be much more electronic/computer controlled.

I think they changed to much between the EVO 9 and X. I like the rear difuser though. Every car should have one emoji Challenger is sweet. Saw that orange one at our DC show.

I think if I ever did anything to my car as far as body styling, it'd be an Evo IX JDM rear. Those things are so nice. And still stock Mitsu part. emoji

that's the only good looking evo I've seen. about time it stopped looking like a mommy-mobile. It would be better if they changed the grill - it's way to busy up front. that porsche is cool too.
