#7443, "DSM unreliability spreads like plague."

After some recent experiences, I've decided that my 1g's unreliability spreads to the machines that interact with it. So far the tire changer hasnt been able to take off any of the tires from their rims (had to pay to do it) and the coolant exchanger put a gallon of coolant into my car before just deciding to stop. If you're not familiar, the 1g holds 2 gallons of coolant. Oh well, I should FINALLY be up and running (after 3 months O_O) next week! YEssssss.

Oh man it is worse then you think. Like a year ago I put my 2gnt in at a shop, they put it on the lift, and that lift caught fire two weeks later.

All I know is that if you put two working DSMs in a garage together, one will break within a week.

My car broke the tire remover/installer machine at Walmart. It also caused my roommate to end up getting hurt somehow while doing the tire change.

He still hates doing 225/45/17 tires to this day because of mine.

Good point, but I would expect the garage to explode before one of the cars breaks... Awesomeness can do crazy things though.

Me and my friend always argue back and forth about which are better, Honduh's or DSM's(I always win but he just wont admit it) but then he will throw out a "Their reliable" and I'm like "Whoa, low blow dude, low blow." lol

Hondas are stupid. No aspect of them is designed to be sporty. Our interior is the absolute kingshit interior ever put into a sport compact, the exterior styling is way better then anything Honda offers and is not derivative of a three box shape like all of their cars, all of their motors are tiny and gutless, and turbo hondas can't even spool their turbos before 5,000rpm, by which point we are just coming into the fattest part of our powerband.

so how did we get from 1g reliability to civics? emoji anyways, the statement above about our interior being the "kingshit" is absolutely true. just look at the interior of the new Pontiac Solstice, and tell me if it reminds you of something...

honestly, the interior to the 2g LOOKS nice, but it is junk crap. typical though, no different than any other cars.

all I have to say about civics is that I go to work in one (my buddy who I work with gets me there) while both my dsms are sitting in my driveway. The 2GNT has no registration and its battery was eaten by the TSI, and the TSI itself overheats (headgasket suspect) so I don't drive it. In the month that I've had it, the 1G ate about $1000 in repairs, considering it ran good when I bought it. First I had to drop a ton of cash to have the front hubs, bearings, rotors and other crap replaced after a tire blew, a little later the battery was just dead like that in the morning, good I had the NT handy, a week after that one ignitor failed on the highway and scared the crap out of me, ran on 2 cyls for good 10 miles. A week ago the radiator fan temp. switch failed and the car promptly overheated like 20m from home just waiting at a stoplight, prolly that killed the HG.

I was going to sell the 2gnt but now I'm thinking I should keep it as a DD. It only really broke on me once, when the ECU died.
