I'm sure the Land Rover is on display on some sort of ramp or rocks. Thats how we display some of our Land Rovers at work to show off the suspension and off-road potential.

i dont see any kind of ramp underneath the land rover....all i see is the bottom part of those trees in the background...which would mean theres nothing but air under that rover lol

Definitely a Rover.
http://www.roversnorth.com/wallpaper/RR_SPORT_08.jp g (huge picture)

You can spot the back-swept roofline and front fender extractor vent.

As for off-roading a Land Rover, Dino, they do it all the time everywhere else in the world...

"A Land Rover is at once a delightful runabout and a rolling torture chamber. It combines the best and worst features of a truck with the insouciance of an MG-TC. It is a car that every man feels compelled to buy at one time or another, but hardly anybody has a use for. It is best suited to off-the-road cross-country adventure. Conversely it is not specifically useful for shopping trips, or general family-household use, but that's what people do with it. This is one of several instances where perfectly reasonable people have seemed to take leave of their senses on first meeting the Land Rover. It is less of a car than a state of mind. Its owners are the most partisan group imaginable and its would-be owners are legion." -- Car and Driver, September 1964

I know it's not a dealer but it could still be some sort of event. Just trying to think of something logical since a flying land rover is pretty crazy.

hahahah that and ur sig made me look like an idiot in the pc lab at school, i almost pissed myself in laughter! crazy ass pic btw...

EDIT after thinking about it, it doesnt seem that the land rover was off the road BEFORE flippin, looks like its on a diagonal ontop of it as it lands, maybe he cut what looks like a U turn, was going exceedingly fast but as it was trying to line up back into the road, the steepnes of the hill acted as a ramp. or maybe its just an Oklahoma flyin rover...dk just my engineering mind at work!

Ok, attempting to find more info on this.

Goodwood Hillclimb is part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Hillclimb happened yesterday, on March 27, 2006

The race is named after Goodwood House, Sussex, England- A famous museum and club for vintage racecars.

The house pictured is apparently Goodwood House itself, which, according to this 2003 map, has "Central Feature Paddock" in front of it. http://www.marshalspost.com/images/tmp/bigA5RpzK.jp g

So here's the page with the most info: http://www.goodwood.co.uk/2004/fos/pressday_06.htm

The incredible 1,000bhp Bugatti Veyron made its first appearance at a UK event when it roared up the Goodwood hillclimb on March 23rd during the annual Festival of Speed press launch. There were also debut appearances for the Maserati GranSport Spyder, Prodrive P2 and Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST.

Range Rover Sport HST Debut: http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3300.asp?id=12892

Note large demo ramp:

Same Bugatti
Rover...
More Hanging Cars

Soooo...
My guess is you're looking at a display car for the Range Rover debut,
that's showing off the suspension and 4wd components of the new vehicle.
It looks like theres a spectator rope barrier on the grass in front of the Rover.

Oh, and this is for Dino:

not to mention you can tell that land rover isn't moving at all... the way its motion blurred is exactly the same as the house(and everything else besides the bugatti), which obviously isn't moving either.
