So I was hanging out at Tony’s Taco truck #3 in Exeter (if ever you are passing through the Valley and spot one of these little gems, pull over quick and get three taco’s al pastor) and this dude pulls up in a Prelude with a body kit, and his buddy in a F-150 lowered and kitted , pulls up next to him. I was waiting for my food and figured, it’s got a bodykit, but I know guys with kits that are smart, and figured I’d start a conversation to pass the time. Conversation went as follows;

Me- nice car, what you runnin’
Ricer 1- it’s a Prelude
Me- (no shit Sherlock) what’s under the hood?
Ricer 1- it’s got Vtec! (in a condescending, how stupid are you tone)
Me- Well what size engine?
Ricer 1- Oh shit, I don’t know
Ricer 2- It’s got an intake and exhaust, and it’s fast as shit! It beat my truck!
Me- I take it that’s not a Lightening then (what have gotten myself involved in?)
Ricer 2- Nah, I wish, it’s just a 6-cyl.
Me- (to Ricer 1) is it manual?

Now at this point, knowing the lack of IQ I’m dealing with, I’m halfway expecting him to say “No, it’s Pedro, what’s your name?” but instead I get…

Ricer 1- It’s both
Me- (Dear God, what has this bastard done to his car, if he slapped an Automatic shifter onto a manual gearbox, I may just choke him out right here) So is it an autostick?
Ricer 1- No, it shifts like normal but you have to shift it (believe me when I say I cleaned this response up, this is a level of unintelligible that I cannot begin to convey)
Me- So it’s an autostick.

At this point sweet salvation arrived on a chariot of tortilla and I was able to take my food and leave. Moral of the story, don’t talk to people cause they are the dumb and suck.
