Don`t get me wrong guys I bring this up due to the few GSXers that for no reason love to bash on us 420a guys. It doesnt matter if someone is trying to beef up a 1.3l geo metro you shouldnt talk down on somebody for actually making there car faster instead of buying a stock car and trying to be some hard az. Here is one conversation between me and a mod on dsm tuners. This mod for no reason started sh1t with me because I dissed Lambos a while back. Do you guys deal with this on that forums? I am sorry once again mods but I just want everyones thoughts on this.
The mod doesnt even own a dsm anymore and says that he is more of a dsmer than I will ever be.

Yes and because of reasons like that I know of a lot of people that stay away from forums. Even though they can be such a big help. Its a shame that these forums are to help people yet most people just enjoy bashing on one another.

4g63 guys think you cant do a 2.4 swap or think you should sell a gs/rs. I think the 2gnt is better and has more potential, a lot more. And I prefer lambo over Ferrari. The story behind Lamborghini is sweet. Maybe the dsm tuner guys are scared that we will beat them? Maybe.

Even the founder is a complete dumazs not to mention no matter what your recomended to rebuild internals on a 4g63 if pushing over 20psi or youll end up like Stock enthusiast number 1 on that video against the M3. Just ignorance on that site and you know what I have noticed that 90 percent of the 420a guys on there did some good balanced engine rebuilds and were very knowledgeble about there engine while the GSX guys were mostly stock and talked hella sh1t because they arent anything. I'd buy another 2GNT before I buy another turbo DSM, but I would buy another Galant VR4 before I even got that far lol. 2GNT is still one of the places I pay homage to for all the help and knowledge I've gained over the years.
I play with 4g63s nowadays, however in RWD form and not a dsm, but I don't discriminate against the 2GNTs like most others do and it's not just on tuners, it's every other DSM forum out there. Always finding myself the only one who sticks up for fellow 2GNTers in a sea of 4g63 owners.
2GNTers think outside the box when it comes to upgrades, average 4g63 dsm owners thinks solely inside the box, if it's different, they don't want any part of it.

Its more fun to have fwd and make it faster. MOST don't NEED awd. Plus 4g63s need to be rebuilt to handle any kind of real power so they have just as much in it as we would.

A lot of 4g63 guys really don't know the ins and outs of the 420a they just think their engines are better because they're already Turbo. And you wouldn't believe how many 4g63 guys I've met that tell me they got the Evo engine in their eclipse. If they don't know the difference then they don't know 420a

That really is it. They have a GSX so they bash on everyone else because they have a gsx. I have heard so many of these guys even bash on there fellow gst and tell them to just go get a gsx like it is no big deal when reality there pretty rare. I even have seen a post in argument that the gst has no advantage on a roll and that a gsx would still win which is false do to transmission stress and the fact that the awd weighs more so with the anatomy in gears 3 and 4 a fwd will go faster than awd on a similar power level.

Well actually they don't as long as the maintenance is kept up the stock blocks can handle upwards of 450hp. Some have managed 500hp on a stock bottom end.

Well here again, they are correct, Evo 1-3 and '92.5-99 turbo DSM do share the same motors (7 bolt), the US motors just have minor differences in terms of injectors, intake, turbo, and power output otherwise they are the same. 6 Bolt DSMs use the same motor as the Galant VR4. Remember DSMs were made solely for the North American Market with few exported to Europe and even fewer to Japan.
I often tell people I had the "evo" motor in my Galant VR4 just because the average non-enthusiast has no idea what I'm talking about when I say "4g63".
I don't even play with AWD anymore, just RWD, however I could use it though for the winter time for when I actually want to go up to the mountains where I need it. At least I won't have to deal with pos Mitsubishi fwd/awd transmissions and transfercases anymore or until I get another GVR4.

Well anything over 20 psi on a big trim turbo is still recomended to upgrade internals. They can still run higher boost but like you said if they dont maintain the engine sh1t happens lol like that video against the m3.

You know thats funny you say that. I am not a racist car owner(meaning you hate on Muscle cars or other imports) like the gsx guys. The 1.6l civic, del sol and crx have some really good advantages in areas that the dsm does not(high end rpm and a higher Volumetric efficiency) which is better for using bigger turbos not to mention there cars the del sol is almost 1000 pounds lighter than the gsx and left and right they will diss away the honda owners like it is nothing and some punk decided to dog on me because I had a chevelle and I told that stock enthusiast pos if he wants some 500 dollars at summit during the summer and he just kept on going. I laugh at ignorance and a racist car owner.

For the cost of the car and parts a honda is great! Light weight, tons of support. They don't make a lot of power but they don't need to. I would put money on a crx over a gsx with the same money in it ( including car). Any car can go fast though, just about how much you want to spend or how creative you are. 2gnters and honda owners are putting turbos on and making more power than 4g63s for about a thousand dollars!!!

I couldn't agree more. I actually just got into it with a bunch on 4g6x guys on tuners. I cannot stand the majority of 4g6x owners and stay away for dsmtuners for the most part. "Dude, just sell it and buy a gs-t or gsx". It's also hilarious how in an argument they act like they told you off, but in reality they completely misread your post and their so called "come back" had nothing to do with what you were even saying. Most of those guys couldn't think outside of the box if their lives depended on it..... I love this site and it's members. Tuners can keep the ignorant asses....

lol, had a Neon (srt4) imo, it was too easy to make fast, I had minimal mods and it was a 12 second car fairly easily. No tuning really. If you compare logic with an awd car for the 1/4 mile yes I see what they are saying the gsx guys but when you compare statistics it almost takes the same amount of hp to run 10s compared to the fwds not to mention a lot to do with it takes more skill in a 60 in a fwd than an a gsx so anybody can launch good and have really good control in an awd and thats one reason they get such good times. As for the ignorance level on that site was outrageous today when someone said that the 6g72 vr4 3000gt/stealth was slow when the stock hp is over 300hp and the stock best 1/4 was a 13.4. I just dont get it.
