she lives!

pulled the plugs cranked the engine (with all relays unplugged), cranked out the water. Most was in the outer 2 cyl. Drained the oil replaced the plugs, filled up the oil.

Cranked her like a ton of times (good thing I have a strong battery) and finally she roared to life. Still sounds ok, even though Im sure there could be some rod/ring damage. I'll do a comp test in the next few days to see how its doing. I just did a comp test about a week ago (110k miles) and it was about 210 across the cyl.

Fun times!

And Im going to keep the cai, just going to be extra, extra careful, and Its not like I'm lowered or anything. The cai will come off when I go turbo, which may not be too far from now. Worse case I'll convert back to my shorty if it gets too crazy with the weather.

I've been through water in mine back when all those hurricanes dumped rain on us in FL. Thank God I had the bypass valve in mine....worked like a charm.....twice!
