I'm due for a decent chunk of change from work. I've been kicking around the idea of having a pool put in.

I'm no stranger to general maintenance, and the like, but I've never had one constructed before.

Has anyone gone through this process before? Are there any "gotcha's" or pitfalls to be aware of when shopping for a contractor for this sort of thing? (Beyond the obvious that they're a registered contractor, and have a solid BBB rep, etc...)
