I would watch out for the cheap 1gs, I know a guy that had a horrible experience with one that has now been sitting on the side of the road for 4 months, I'm about to go unbolt the 14b and weld it up to my old lawnmower which will probably lean out and die or just blow up from parts failure, whatever it will do it is going to be a glorious death, all hail the turbo mower

This doesnt quite compare, but I picked up a 90 GS for 300$. 81k, mint interior, almost mint paint, engine spotless and dry, brand new tires, brakes, belts, hoses, all fluids changed. Would'nt run, dumb college kid thought it jumped the timing belt for some reason. All it needed was a computer, so total of 375$ for a almost mint GS with 81k. Plus he gave me a box stereo stuff with the car that I sold for 175$ and still had a head unit left over to put in the car.

Yeah, I know. He said $100 smackers and I couldn't resist. I think that Im gonna part it out or sell it b/c Ive used some of the parts to fix my GST with.
I took the computer, ignition switch, door locks, and hood. I might take the seats, but other than that, Im thinking about selling it.

Ive done a little bit since I talked to you last about the GST. I put a small 16g on it, 255 walbro, and pretty much every gasket in the engine. Runs like a dream! The computer was bad it it was why it didn't run. Im still looking for a 90 GSX. If I can find one in really good shape for about 2,500, then Ill see the GST to ya. Im getting ready to paint the car. The body work (dings and dents) is almost complete. Then Ill be respraying the car in Maui Blue. If I find a GSX, Ill sell it to you for what I have in it. I think right now it is about 1,200 or so. I have all the receipts for every little thing Ive done to it.

Yeah I bought the gs-t in my sig for 500 dollars. Put around 300 more into it and found out I had a dead cylinder. After another 400 I've got a good running gs-t for around 1200 dollars. I have one of the cleanest 1g's I've seen in person.
