I don't think a lot of people are buying that. I found one post where a dude put together a boosted BMW and is running their valve. It leaks under boost. Not really finding anything else useful. Also, $400 for a PCV? Are you kidding me?

Icould see this being used as an easier alternative to an iac valve or a fast idle valve, that's about it.

Anyone that buys that has probably also given their bank account information via E-mail to the Nigerian Fund Dispersal Commitee. I was trying to think of something even more comically pointless to compare this to, but I couldn't. I think that says less about my imagination and more about how ridiculous this product is.

To me, adding electronics to a pcv valve is over complicating the simplest functioning piece most cars will ever have. All it is is a one way valve. Why change that? It's just asking for problems.

Who needs a pcv valve anyways. Mine always leaked under boost even a brand new one. I now just have a hose running straight down

With a straight hose you are pressurizing the crankcase. That could lead to blown gaskets. If a PCV is not working for you, try getting a different check valve.

I think (and HOPE) he means just a hose basically vented to atmosphere, but pointed down so to drain. Still going to ventilate, but not going to be ingested by the motor.

^ Yes he is correct. The manifold is capped off. The way I saw it was when in boost the pcv valve is closed anyways so any blow by you get cannot get out easily and I always had oil shoot out the breather on hard right turns so I figured why not remove it. It cant be any worse on the motor
