I was thinking about building my own sand blasting chamber, has anyone built their own? I have been looking at pictures on Google and was wondering if anyone on here had built their own. Just wanted to get some more ideas and possibly strike up some/more better ideas. I am going to be using it for blasting my wheels and other small parts. I plan to start powder coating soon after it's built. Who knows, maybe I can do some powder coating for you guys down the road.

Sounds like pink valvecovers is the new rage in these parts, so you'll have lots of business.

I drew out plans to build my own but when i compared to prebuilt units, it was a better deal to just buy one.

Its only worth it if your going to build one larger than 36"X24"X28"

I was kind of thinking the same thing from what I've been looking at. I do want to make one large enough to fit an 18" wheel comfortably enough to flip it around inside. I'm going to start really measuring and pricing it out in the next few days to see just what it will cost. I like to build things when I can instead of buying if it's worth it, that way it's just the way I want it. I also need to start looking for an oven big enough to bake my parts.

It actually looks pretty cool. Definately different. Just don't add baby blue anything under the hood. That will make it VERY Abercrombie..lol
