#4504, "Maybe makin a trade, help me out"

My truck (91 nissan HB) for a 2001 1.8t Jetta Wolfsburg ed. Both have close to the same milage, truck has 56k and the Jetta less. No joke. My parents feel bad that I have bought every single car and just about put myself through college while my sister got everything. I'm pretty easy to please and my parents help me if I really need it. I got a job offer to go to FL and they want to trade me the car with no or the few payments they have left on it for the truck that they say "they really need". I will have to drive to a construction maintence area every morning b/c that's what my job requires. I really would like to keep the car nice looking and put some good hp numbers down while keeping it stock looking. I'm just looking for some input on some decent parts that I should consider for the car that are not insanely expensive (have college loans) and if anybody has actually used the invisible plastic shield shit that they have out now. It has a nice 2.5" muffler with magnaflow resonators, but I'd probably part with them for a cat-back and DP. Input?

Fleet Maintence Engineer. I get a truck if I go to the site, but I have an office job to go to first and then if shit can't be fixed at my area, then off I go to check it out. I'd be a glorified finger pointer and shit fixer.

If you are serious about the jetta go on www.vwvortex.com most of those people feel the same way as you do about the car. keep it looking stock but want it to haul ass.
