#44489, "I was standing next to this all day, today. "

My brother bought an camaro rs with a tbi 5.7 liter chevy truck motor swap, and he blew the rear diff. I was asked to lend a hand helping do a rear end job, from a 1990 camaro. eew, but good pratcie so when it comes from me to do the GS rear sway bar upgrade in my 2g rs.

This is whip was in the next engine bay, wel my brother's he works for an exotic dealership.

But this one had a custom paint job. Amaerican flag with Statue of liberty graphic. To me it looks abit like an NSX and the Mopar concept car from the movie Wraith.

I thought I would share, this with you guys.

They were very impressive cars but now they are more than 20 years old and zero support for repairs. Parts are no longer made so its more of a trophy than anything. The Vector was Americas attempt at the Exotic world. Didnt work and the car/platform was sold three times.

As for your brother....tell him to junk the motor and rear end and start over with a decent motor and rear. Order a ZZ4 crate motor and Moser makes a drop in 12 bolt rear for 2500.00. Then he can make plans to replace the 700R4 with a turbo 400 or Tremec 6 speed.

Good info. Terry. My brother sent this article about the Vector. From wik wiki pedia. Vector WX-8 Main article: Vector WX-8 The Vector WX8 prototype on display at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show Since the company's closure, rumors began to circulate about Wiegert developing a new car to bring Vector back to life with a new model called the WX8. At the Concorso Italiano on August 18, 2006, Wiegert showed up in the V-8 Avtech prototype with friend Keith Rosenberg. He confirmed that he had begun work on another supercar. Wiegert had the Avtech on display at the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance on June 17, 2007. His business card for Vector Motors Corporation (Wilmington, CA) has him titled as "Chairman and CEO." He also announced plans to debut his new prototype at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. At the L.A. Auto Show, Wiegert presented a prototype of the WX8. The car is powered by a supercharged 10-litre all-aluminum V8 with a projected output of 1,850 horsepower (1,380 kW), which would make it more powerful than the Bugatti Veyron and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. Vector claims that the WX8 has a top speed of 275 mph (443 km/h) and a 0-60 time of just under three seconds.

I'll sneak an snap a picture of it, have take my bro. to work to finish his car. I think they might have it in the 2010 July 4h Parade, hence the American Flag graphic.

Lmao, I'll let him know that. He's planning on selling it after he replaces the rear end.

haha, No. Who the hell is that. I'm old, I just now caught that, too funny. You mean the redneck motor swap in my brothers camaro. He bought the car like that and I gave him shit for it. I tried to encourage him to get a fun 2g mtx, instead since he used to own an 1g talon back in the day. He prefers Chevy or Ford over DSM and Mopar.

I'll fuck with him tommorrow, I'm gonna write ESL on his back bumper when he's not looking. lol

The company I've been with for three years, put me on call due to low sales. Supposedly, they said they dont have enough hours to give to put on the schedule, thats I'm on call. It's actually BS, I stopped in a few times and everyone is on the schedule but me. I even put in a transfer request eight months ago. My shop brought in a person from another area to replace a guy that was in the Guard for being late. Something isn't right at my place of employment. I when asked about either my hours or transfer, they give me the same excuse and they chuckle everytime. They know I have to pay child support monthly, so actually they're just wanting me to quit. I could just quit, but then I'll get my license suspended other bs from child support. After, I just paid it up in full back in 06', so I'm not going that route. They didn't fire nor did I quit, I've been busy looking for a second job, after I helped my brother out, with his camaro.

This what I've been up to.
