#43295, "who has the best police fine story?"

I just got fined about 800$ because I accidently skidded through 2 stop signs because there was ice on the road and I couldnt stop in time..... lol 2 fines for running two stop signs and 1 fine for wreckless driving, the cop was a dick and then kicked my car after he gave me the tickets. so at the moment I am talking to the police chief and trying to come to a solution about how to handle this situation of his employee kicking my car.

I got one for ya. 130 MPH in a 35 zone, past a sherriff, turned my lights off and tried to run ( if you couldnt tell, I was very young and stupid) ended up skidding to a stop in a parking lot and he turned around and found me. 2 hours of sitting in his back seat later, I leave.....with a SEATBELT TICKET! lol. I learned my lesson.

not a fine story. but 2 years ago some dick officer pulled me over in my avenger for what seemed like to just harass me. i ended up getting a ticket for license plate lights too bright! are you kidding me?! and window tint which i did not have. he wrote the ticket and i said hey i dont have tint, i just got a ticket a month ago for that and scraped it off. his reply was "well its a fix it ticket so take it downtown and show them" what a dick.

I'm sorry, but if the roads are so icy that a slide lasts more than a city block, you were going too fast or shouldn't have been on the road in the first place.

Couldn't stop in time. Riiiiiiight. :|

Man up and admit that you fucked up.

My finest moment of behind-the-wheel ignorance:
Fall 1995, SE Kansas. Nailed for 97 in a 55 going down a long hill into a dark valley where the only other vehicle was a Sheriff's Deputy shooting radar with his lights off. 28 miles later, got "timed" for doing 80 in a 55, despite being stuck behind a little old lady in a K-car doing 54 and being scared to death to pass.

These were tickets #3 and #4 in a 12 month period. Total came to $255. Fortunately, the 4th ticket never showed up on my record. If it had, I would have lost my license for a year.

I was driving around in my friends car when we got pulled over. The cop said the licence plate lights were out(they wernt) but he asked why there were so many air freasheners hanging from the mirror. We had about a 15 minute conversation of him accusing us of being stoned lol. I remember him asking this to my friend, who hasnt smoked pot, "Have you ever smoked pot" his reply was no, so the cop said "when is the last time you smoked pot" lol.

Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.

122 in a 55 zone. Well after midnight and 30 miles out of town in the middle of nowhere. Cop passed me going the opposite direction. Did a few mental notes of future turn offs and decided I was fucked so I pulled over and waited for him and had a few smokes. He was very cool about it and appreciated me waiting so he wrote me up civil for 74 in a 55. $80 fine, no points and one afternoon in defensive driving. This was in the 2GNT.

110 in a 40 zone. I was shitting my pants when the cop was talking to him. He asked how much trouble I was in and I blurted it out. "Um, suspension, getting arrested, car is getting impounded, couple thousand in fines and a bunch of community service." He smiled, told me to calm down and gave me a verbal. Un-fucking-believable. This was in my SRT.

Excuse my poor English skills. He asked me if I knew how much trouble I was in. He probably meant it rhetorically but I knew the law for street racing and was nervous as hell.

Because I'm a drunk and I would drink and drive (even on the bike) I got a lot of stupid stories (that's why I don't drink any more). I guess my most expensive would be my first DWI (not DUI. We got DWI's back then).

Coming back from a concert/partying (beer and weed) 2am. Driving in just my shorts and 1 sneaker on (I always got comfortable when driving home at that time, in that condition) with the crusty, greasy late night diner food in my lap. I came upon a car in my lane while going 80mph (in a 45). Screw him. Swerved around him and flew by with a "later dude". A mile down the road I'm being lit up! Where the hell did he come from?

Well, as it turns out the reason I know I was going 80mph was because the car that I swerved around turned out to be a BLACK AND WHITE that hit me with radar. I was so drunk and stoned (.26 1 1/2 hours later at the station) that I didn't even know it. I know he got a chuckle out of it, but I wasn't all that happy that night. Cost me, I believe, $800 total at the time.

Yup, I was a dumb fuck back then. The life of a drunk is not very effective.

I could write a damn book on this. My whole license journey is one big story. I didn't have my license for 7 years, JUST got it back his past August.

Got pulled over for 80 in a 65, on I-43 in Wisconsin. I was 16 and only had my license for 6 months. Got the standard $100 ticket. Well, I didn't have the $100 (no job) and my parents didn't have it, so I ignored it. I only went up to Wis on Sundays during the winter to race bmx (outdoor track is here in Rockford, indoor track is in Elkhorn,WI)...so I figure, from now on I'll just take it easy.

2 1/2 years later, This lady blows a stop sign, chasing her bf through my neighborhood....yes, he was in his car, she was in hers...like high speed chase,.....boom, hits me. My thinking is "I'm fine, its obviously her fault, I have insurance, I'm all good". Cops get there, yada yada take info....cop comes back and gives me a ticket. emoji: Says my license is "Invalid". Come to find out, Illinois and Wisconsin "work together", and since my ticket was unpaid in Wis, suspending my License, it ended up Invalid in Illinois- I had been driving on an invalid license the entire time and didn't even know it. A whole lotta bullll. So after going to court to fight this, "Uhmm....I never got a single piece of paper saying a word about my license". Didn't matter. Guilty. License suspended 6 months.

A year later, hit a road side safety check (totally sober, wrong place wrong time). That's "driving while invalid #2.

Took a trip with 2 friends to go see some bands 2 hours south in Peoria. At the venue, they drink and I don't (I don't drink beer and thats all there was), after the show we head to the afterparty at a bar about 5 miles away. We get outside, I say...I'm driving, you guys are lit. We get a half a block from the bar and I see the lights behind me. WTF. Didn't see him on a side street. 36 in a 30, and my 3rd driving while invalid. I told the cop as soon as he got to the window, "Officer, I'm going to be upfront with you, I don't have my license, I'm only driving because these 2 are drunk." He didn't care. Even made one of them drive the rest of the way, knowing they were drunk. (I learned later they were pulling over virtually every car they could that night and handing out tickets like nobodys business).

Finally the state revokes my license. They give me absurd fines, want me to attend a 4 hour driver remedial course and the nearest one is an hour away, and cost $175. I didn't have the time or money to do any of the above, so I kept driving. I need to get to work. Got shit to do. Can't just stop my life.

June 08, a friend calls me, needs a ride, Sunday night...about 1am. I'm like, man I'm in bed, I don't wanna leave. He talks me into it. He lives in bumfuck and I had to piss, so I pull behind this grocery store in the loading dock area to piss real quick. My unlucky ass is pissin, and here comes a cop, doin his little drive thru of the area. Gave me a public urination ticket and I went to jail for driving on a revoked license. So, a little older now and wayyy more financially stable, paid every single red cent of my fines, took the stupid class, reinstatement fees, and made it through a year court supervision, as of dec 18th,2009, I am free and clear, fully licensed driver. Phew. I know alot of it was my fault from not paying fines, but when you don't have a job because you're still in school, or are still broke even when you have a job, not much I could do. Glad all that shit is over with.

Lol, just the one BUT I got out of the second one...aight, you talked me into it. I'll tell one more story;

Heading home from a buddy's garage around 1am. Had a Baja VW at the time with a stinger exhaust (cop magnet). Definitely legally drunk, had maybe 1/2 a case in a few hours (oh that's two six packs) with a few hits of Vodka.

Cop doesn't like the car, pulls me over (keep in mind that I'm actually a really good drinker. Hold it well). Here we go, sobriety test..alphabet.....stand on one foot....touch your nose......walk this line....now walk it back. Nope, fuck you, I'm done Mr Cop.

Told him I passed all his tests so far and either bust me or I'm heading home. I'm done with you making a fool of me (yeah, I really got pissed after awhile). Before he could answer I turned and started walking to my car. As I reached into my pocket to get my keys, I was sure that the nightstick was coming down on my head. Nothing yet. Open the door....here it comes. NOPE, nothing?

Hop in the car and head home (about 1 mile away). As I pull into my driveway, here they come, like they're in a cops show, lol. 4 cop cars come screaming in and surround the driveway. I park the car, wave to them and head inside. They never said a thing.

And THAT was the last time I had a drink of any kind emoji

I was tagged 65 in a 35 zone, when I had my old GS. Reason for the speeding was because there was fighting going on at home. Back in the day one of my half brothers, broke my mother's jaw. An this choad, has always had a anger issue over stupid shit.

Well, I flew pass the deputy and five minutes later, flashed his lights as I was pulling into my driveway. Thankfully this stopped all the BS inside the house they thought cops was for them.

The fine was 80 bucks 2pts on my record, he could let me off but he didn't.

Funny thing, I had a court appearence at another twon for this BS ticket.

So, court I went showed up early and guess what happend next. I about pissed myself, they all looked at me like an why the F are you here, in my courtroom. I just laughed and told the judge I guess the deputy was a New guy, I think. They said, well next time just Pay your fine there not here. I was like wtf emoji so I shook my head/chucklled paid outside the door, it was all one building to fines/court etc. The lady judge was a hot red head.

This was 4 years ago, as of now I have zero pts. knock wood.

Corrected.

I recieved a finde in this small town called Waynesburg. The Deputy told me to go to Canton, which is a 20 miles. When I went for my court hearing the judge told me, because of my small traffic violation/fine. The deputy should've told me to pay my fine at there courthouse. But, the newbie deputy didn't so I paid it Canton.

So many great stories and alot about speeding and drinking lol.

Mine aren't so entertaining really just stupid. Two stupid ones.

Trying to get home from a party about 45 mins away from my home. I don't drink so I was driving my friend home. I was following some others to get home but lost them. I see a cop behind me and I'm like, ok what's he gonna do. Still lost and he's following me I turn into a neighborhood and ended up in a turn around. Cop flips his lights and I'm just like, uh ok what I do?
He comes up to me and drills me with about twenty questions. "What are you doing??" I'm lost. "Who's car is this?" My dad's? "What's his name?" Paul? "Where are you from??" Lakeville??? I wanted to smack his ass pulled me over cause I was lost? At the end all he says is get home and all I say is sure. Turn around and drive home. Asshole lol.

Second one. I was leaving my friend's house around 1 in the morning. Turn on my loud car and turn around in the turn around. I see a cop just sitting there and I say what's he gonna do? Turn around and head home. I look in my mirror and I'm like wtf why he following me?? After a stop sign he pulls me over. Comes up to me and asked what I was doing. I say I was heading home from a friends. Now keep in mind with my loud ass car, my tassle and dream catcher hanging from my rear view mirror, and no cat on my car he ignores anything about my car. He said he pulled me over cause they heard suspicious activity around and was just checking?? Let me go, what a waste I did nothing again... I hate stupid cops.

No tickets but asshole cops that wasted my time for doing nothing.

I had a Marine buddy on leave in town and we went out to the bar. I had a few but nothing serious, he on the other hand was fucking tanked. It was time to leave and I finally convince this brick shit house that I'm driving for 2 reasons, I'm not nearly as drunk and his car is sex on wheels (White 05 SRT with the entire AGP Turbo catalog thrown at it).

So we're out just hammering on his car when of course I get nailed going very fast in a very slow part of town. I'll pass field sobriety but there's no way I'll pass the breathalizer. I was 100 pounds at the time, I store that shit for winter for Christ's sake. Anyway, the cop starts asking for ID and stuff when Scott (marine dude) just starts semi yelling at the cop. Some choice phrases were:

"HEY! DO YOU LIKE MY CAR?! PRETTY FUCKING SEXY, AINT IT?!"
"HEY! I'LL FUCKING RACE YOUR ASS WHEN I'M SOBERER THAN THIS KID!"
"HEY! LISTEN TO ME GOD DAMNIT!"

I'm in the driver seat just dying from shame. I give the cop his ID too after a bit of an altercation with Scott. Cop sees the military stuff and asks me about it. "Yes sir, he's home from leave, yes I'm carting his drunk ass around, yes I wanted to have fun with his car, my bad, blah blah blah". The cop is really cool about it and is going to let me go when we look over and Scott has managed to get out of the car without me or the cop noticing and is pissing on the fucking sidewalk. The cop just shakes his head and tells me to get him home safely and slowly.

That's right! Fucking pigs out there looking out for anything suspicious after someone called in to report shady dealings in their neighborhood!

Next time you spy some shady mothrerfuckers cruising your block or your house gets egged or broken into, remember to tell the police not to stop anyone driving through the neighborhood at 1AM because that's wasting people's time.

emoji

Seriously. Think about YOUR neighborhood. You call in because there's some suspicious activity going on. Do you want the cops to just sit there and do nothing (or not even roll through) or do you want them to question every asshole what comes down the block to make sure they have reason to be there?

Actually I obviously failed to clarify on that.
I was re-affirming the statement cops are everywhere
until you actually need one. Then they are nowhere to
be found
