I saw this and thought it was kinda cool. http://www.modernperformance.com/blog/aem-x-wifi-allows-you-to-monitor-your-airfuel-ratio-and-egt-on-your-phone As far as I can tell though, it has no data logging capabilities. I also found a similar product from Innovate Motorsports. Looks like you can log with Open Tune. Innovate has been talking of releasing the software for some time now though, hopefully they do it soon. I think I would be more interested in the Innovate version because of the features that come with it, clearing trouble codes, datalogging (with wbo2) etc. Both are pretty cool though, but the innovate looks far superior. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/ot2.php

Neat gadget...but that's about all it is. I don't see much of a point. Who wants to hold onto there phone when they are tuning when the gauge is right there? The only good point was the dyno tuning the guy mentioned at the end. But most of the time you can watch the monitor.
Also, bluetooth is way more common on phones, so I don't know why they choose wifi. Maybe not having to install software on you phone was part of the reason. And I'm not sure if bluetooth has good enough bandwidth and might not be as "real time"
Now if it had data logging capabilities and you could connect it with your laptop that's a different story.

No, the Innovate one is more than just that dumb dynolicious app. It has data logging capability. Also, you can connect it to your laptop I believe. Like I said, it has the ability to clear trouble codes, monitor anything you have on your car. It seems very cheap in price. The more I look at the AEM one, it seems like it's just a gauge for your iPhone. Oh, also, the app Logworks is going to be free.

Nice to see steps being taken towards this type of technology. Telemetry is no new thing in motorsport. F1/rally teams can watch realtime datalogs during the race event from the service park. What would be NICE would be wimax connectivity at an event which would allow your service crew to monitor and modify your tune while you are racing.
This sort of iPhone thing just reminds me to tell you all that you've got a nasty hole in your fuel map. That's why you're unloading in third.

Lol, I know, can't wait to start going to the track and see how other peoples cars are running. Don't know if there's any kind of password protection.
