Started a new project recently. mitsubishi.gearboxmagazine.com.

Some of the OGs might remember multiple times when people started talking about a DSM magazine. I always wanted to do it, but never could make it happen. Well, I'm making it happen now. And we're not just sticking with DSMs, either.

Gearbox Magazine is all about shining some spotlight on average Joes like us. Telling the stories of enthusiasts who are passionate about their Mitsubishis, but not exactly beating away the mainstream media. What's more, this isn't just about DSMs or Evos or VR4s. No, Gearbox Magazine is about ANY Mitsubishi enthusiast anywhere in the world.

The site is a bit thin at the moment, but I'm waiting on a couple of interviews to come back. On deck are a $20,000, Jack Stand Ballin' (JSB) Galant VR4 and our very own Dino DarkOne Yancey. I've got leads on a couple Pajero owners in the UK and will be seeing what I can get out of some Turkish 1G Talon rally drivers.

We're bringing everyone together. Mitsubishi Gearbox Magazine matters only because you matter. Go fast with class, my friends.

Looks great B! I'm very impressed by the layout so far. Can't wait to see what it's like once there's some content

You should see if you can get in touch with Cat Terrist and his brother on somethingawful.com. They rally VR-4s in Australia.

This car still rallies today.

just curious, why wordpress? do you want it to function as a blog or an actual CMS like joomla, etc.?

Thanks guys. I'm going to be looking to not only have variety of models, but locations as well, so tips on folks doing things with Mitsubishis elsewhere in the world are always appreciated!

I'm using WP because it's all the CMS I'll need for a good while. Should the site evolve into something more substantial, which might require more than WP can deliver, then I'll start looking into other CMS.

Thanks Mark. I got an alert about that today as well. Very cool.

I didn't press too much about his setup, since I think he's got the full list on his own website. (And I hope he gets some traffic out of this interview.)
