#41694, "Wow, I'm an idiot"

Trying to move the Buick around in the garage so that the Eclipse can be pushed in, I break a tail light on the thing.

Yay!!! that helps me sell it even better!

At least it was only the tail light and not the body.

Metal is easily fixed, the tail lights are hard to find at a reasonable price. What I found so far was $130, and it was the wrong style.

I'm bad, and this is wrong, but it is time to break out the scotch tape and superglue. The hole is about the size of a cell phone, so I will gather the remnants, piece them together like a puzzle and glue them together. I will then (assuming I do this) glue the chunk into the tail light, once dry, wet sand with 2000 grit and buff

You can put a piece of that red tailight tape on the inside of the assembly to hold the pieces back together. I did that as a fix on an old car I had back in 1993. I busted it and collected the pieces, glued and assembled them like you said on a piece of that red tape, putting the tape on the back side of the pieces, and taped it to the inside of the assembly. Worked perfectly, but that side of the was a little dimmer as the light had to go through the sticker and the plastic.
