Reason why I ask is I used to work while I was with my ex. wife, I quit because some problems she giving me and it was effecting my job at the time. Its been more than 5yrs. since I worked here and the job I'm at now is about to go under so I'm trying to get rehired.

I remember as an employee they deduct a few hundred from the sticker price.

I was screwed when I bought my white 2g I paid 5500 with 103 on the odom. This is about same price with 50k less plus its an mtx.

By this 97 talon is the base model No hgh rise wing.

I'm hope they'll let me come back, they're great people and I think they could help me get certified master ase.

I'm no expert on buying cars but I feel it's a good deal. That's a very clean car with very little miles for it's age.

No way. Sorry that car isnt worth 5900. your wacked.

Car has no power options. NONE. I dont care if the description says power locks, those door are non power and any power locks they claim it has are aftermarket and therefor do not fact in to vehicle value.

Kelly Blue book in perfect shape is 3090.00

If you want to pay more than a car is worth i have have a whole fleet to sell you!

Wow can't believe you are even considering this!.. Just to give you something to think about: I bought a 99ozGS a few years back it had 50k miles or so and fully loaded. It also had a hardly used Hahn Turbo kit, and came with a spare set of tokico shox. and for all that I paid $6k!

Now you are thinking of spending the same amount on a stock base model 97 EsI.. wow.

-97 GS (First project, 299 whp)(sold)
- 97 RS 2.6 last numbers: 306hp, 352tq @16psi (Dead, parted out)
- 99 GS OZ, Hahn Kit, 56k miles (Sold)
--------
- 00 Nissan Maxima GLE (Daily Driver)
- 02 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro

It's overpriced, man.

That's what I bought brand new back in September of 1996 (although it didn't have the goofy semi-bra or tacky Autozone foglights). I paid $12k for mine and it only had 7 miles on it at the time.

Don't get me wrong, it's super clean and the miles certainly play a role in the value being upper end, but it's still a box-stock, base model Talon and they're asking nearly HALF the new price some twelve years later.

Offer them $4500 or walk. Six bills would get you a very nice AWD 2G these days...

Exactly. $6k is WAY too much for that. It's clean and has low miles but I could buy an unmolested GSX with a vacuum leak for less than that

GS-T's in decent shape (80k-130k) miles only fetch $3000 or so around here, A base model 2gnt for more than 2k, no matter what the mileage is ridiculous, IMO.
