I dont know if I'm missing something or not, but thats definately an RS body, and RS interior (besides gauges), but it has a 4g63? He even says it runs good. Can someone tell me what I'm missing? Seems kind of wierd to me.

LOL.
I sent him a message asking why the VIN showed NT.
HI this are real pictures we swapped engine and harness thanks for looking
Upon closer inspection, he did do that. Look at the pass side mount, you can see where our mount was cut out. Props to him for making it look good, but still a money pit IMO.

Wow, what a waste of time and money. I wonder what the reserve is on that thing

HaHa. Yea I noticed the mount was chopped, thats what surprised me. I'm amazed that he got the motor sitting in there straight and everything. I would love to test drive it, lol. That's probably why he's selling it on eBay, so no one can.
I guess some people just don't take NO for an answer.

There is nothing wrong with doing it now. THe parts are cheap, you can get a fucked up 2g for under 2k. spend a weekend and swap out all the shit. I am seriously considering it lately. Only I want an AWD and there is more bracket welding which mean I will end up putting the car on a rotisseri machine to do it. Welcome to the age where these cars are over 12 years old.
I have stood the point from the day i came here that the swap can be done and will work fine. Everyone told me I was an idiot.

fair enough terry, I would prefer the EVO engine because that would mainly require fabbing mount adapters as opposed to cutting out factory sheet metal and welding new in. I'm sure there's more work involved but it would look better IMO

There is actually no fabbing. All you do is remove the pot rivits on the passenger side sheetmetal bracket for the mount. then you remove the driver side spots onthe 4g63 mount and weld that into the 420a car. You dont have to fab shit when the chassis is the same. all you need to do is look at the 4g car and see what "additional" metal was spot welded in for the differnet mounts.

The EVO motor is truely a fabbed setup.
But with thedawg's kit everything is already done for you!
