Hey, i recently bought a 1997 talon esi and im wondering what the 0-60 times should be around. It has 160 000 KM, a CAI, and other than that its stock, oil always changed and strong compression readings all over. Now im not the best at launches yet, shifting right before redline. but i still feal like i should be able to do it a bit faster than 10 seconds. Its got a CEL on, but its on for the O2 sensor. The previous owner did not drive it hard at all, infact most of the Km are highway km with cruise controle. Any input is helpful, thanks.
Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.
It's probably faster than posted above, as that 0-60 is most likely in MPH, not KM.
With a bad o2 sensor, it may fatten it way up. If it does, it'll take quite a bit away from you. Running rich has its benefits, but they're typically only noticed down low in RPM's.
Change the o2 and you'll get better 0-60 and better fuel economy.
