I personally love McCain. I think that McCain/Palin could fix a ton of the issues we currently have, especially helping to get down our debt.

I cannot stand Obama. He wont produce his actual documents, he is hiding something, mark my words. I also dont like the fact that he wants to introduce Socialist ideals into our country. I have analyzed both very closely and have decided who I’m going to go with. McCain can’t keep his mind on what he wants to do economical wise; he keeps changing his policies to get the people votes. If warren buffet is for Obama what does that tell ya economy wise? I see a lot of false info in some of the above posts towards Obama. What really turned me off was this Joe the Plummer bullshit who doesn’t have a plumbing license. Living in VA since it’s a battle ground state I’ve been getting these gay ass phone calls from McCain saying Obama is a terrorist, ROFL. That stopped as soon as I got on the national do not call list. I went with the candidate that spent last time attacking and more time talking about the problems. And I also went by who grilled who in the debates. There both smart men, McCain having vette credentials and Obama having Harvard/Stanford stats, either way neither candidate is inexperienced (IMO). I can see this post getting pretty nasty since we’re getting into politics. If you noticed turn it to fox and they do nothing but grill Obama, turn it to CNN and there is somewhat fair and balanced news, so you can’t say the media hasn’t helped McCain. I am voting Obama! Guys seems to stick to the points more and really, his tax plan works if you really look into it. The country would be better off under Obama's tax plan than McCains. Politics hasn't been about what is best for the country, or even the people that keep it moving, in decades. Democrats are opposed to whatever the republicans are trying to pass and vice versa. Our government is about who will get the most good press and a sweet book deal when they're done. Were there a third party involved, the dem/gop dichotomy would end and our government might actually be capable of acting in the best interest of the country like it was originally designed to do. If nothing else, it might mix things up enough to give the American people a chance at seeing some progress.

Gotta love the media keeping this dynamic alive. American media is the most fair and unbiased social brainwashing machine in human history. Nobody has any interest in how a candidate might do something right (not as though either will have enough power to follow through as promised). It's all about what McCain did wrong or Obama can't do. How come we can't grade our kids' papers with red ink because it will make them feel like they aren't smart enough or, dare I say it, did something wrong themselves, but all they see on the TV is how this person did wrong, how that politician lied, and so on? Our society is becoming more and more focused on placing blame rather than accepting responsibility.

Our society is so far beyond fucked up, the fact that I have NOT bought a nine and made plans to start putting mindless media cattle down en masse surprises me. If you're going to talk badly about the republicans or democrats, if you're going to going to say that both parties are bullshit, but you're going to vote for one of these party mouthpieces anyway, then you're part of the problem.

Don't give me any of that wasted vote shit, either. You vote for one of these two suits who will further the ineffective bi-partisan ass rape of the American people (and the rest of the world), or you make a statement and you vote for one of the other parties. They're not getting millions to campaign. They're not looking to be all powerful. They're looking to change the way things are done for the benefit of the American people. They know the chances of them beating either of these mega-candidates is slim to none, but they believe so strongly in working for the people of this country that they're running anyway. How could you *not* vote for that?

So, if you preach change, and you vote either democrat or republican, you're full of shit. Plain and simple.

Democrats are opposed to whatever the republicans are trying to pass and vice versa. Our government is about who will get the most good press and a sweet book deal when they're done.
