Hey, im starting on a little project for the Wiki. Now obviously, some colors were available each year.
Id like a picture of your car, and the paint code. Try to keep it a decent sized picture.
Trying to find a clean pic of a clean car, then deciphering what green or red the color is, is a bit of a nightmare. Id appreciate all the help I can get!
Ill put a list below of the colors offered each year according to Edmunds.
If you dont know which green, or which blue, or red, then just put a pic and the paint code, ill update with the correct name
BTW: Paintcode is either under your hood, or on the door jam.

EDIT: I would like pic size to be at least 800x600. If you have a giant pic, Photobucket I know automatically resizes them to this. The reason for this is so that we can have a neat, organized and detailed thread.
Also remember that this is not about the car itself, but rather the paint color

Old pic, (pre fmic and cf hood) but it probably shows off the stock color the best of all the pics I have of my car

Would u be interested in adding detail about paint fade to it? It's very common among the kalapana black cars and I've considered polling at tuners about it b/c my car as a 96 has zero fade and I know guys with 97+ kalapana black cars that have awful paint fade on the hood/roof

Both of those were back when the car was completely stock aside from the horrible 14s that were on it when I bought it. As soon as I put the dash back in the car and wash it, I'll go do some fresh pictures.

R87 Radiant Fire(as per paintscratch.com)/Saronno Red
The front bumper cover was rattle canned with radiant fire touch up paint, can see some spots on it where I messed it up some, but for the most part it blends in.

I think it has to do with maintenance mainly.
My car has 250800 miles, but it always been waxed, maintained, etc. But I think if people just wash it like normal, or live in a northern state with road salt, it has an effect on it.

my car was religiously washed and waxed for years and had no hint of paint fade, let it sit outside for 2 years without anything being done to it and the paint is TRASHED
