#35488, "Anyone own or know anything about Treadmills?"

So I picked up this practicly brand new ProForm 350 Treadmill for my wife off of Craigs List last night. MSRP was $650 and I got it for $175. Only was used 5 times guy said and I believe him. Showed me proof of purchase and everything from 8 months ago.

Anyway, got it home and started checking things out. However, whenever I try to get on the hog, when I run on it, the belt like stops. Like it hits the bottom of the frame or something and then the belt will like catch and then start again. Weight capacity says 250 for it. I am 200. Even when she tried it on a lower speed, it did the same thing. It also seems like the belt shifts to the right side alot.

He did not have the manual for it and I couldnt find one online since it was discontinued and replaced with a newer model, so I am posting here to see if anyone has any idea's what the issue could be with it.

Seems like the belt needs to be tightened or something.

Only thing I can think of was that it was raining when we loaded/unloaded it but it didnt get 'that' wet to where I tought it would effect the belt operation.

Any ideas or tips would be helpfull.

Thanks.

mike, there is usually a tension adjusting screw on the rear most roller. If you cant figure that out, see if you can download the manual from the manufacturer.
