I recently turboed my car last week and needed a downpipe. I found someone on here that had one so I paid for it immediately. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not recieved anything from the seller. So out of disperation for a downpipe and not to be carless, I contacted a seller on Craigslist and offered him to trade me his stock downpipe for my 4-1 header. I disputed this item for my money back through paypal. Heres what your 2gnt buddy had to say.

Ohh i see how it is. Your a cheap skate and wanted a downpipe immediately which you didnt state otherwise I would have been even clearer than I was. You made no claim of needing it asap. You did not pay on time as I told you you needed to to have me ship it by that saturday. If you needed it so bad why didnt you send payment by the time I told you so that i could ship it to you? I dont know why you didnt get it yet though. I left for my training. I sold you a part that costs nearly 300 new. I am not going to eat anything. In fact it will cost you more in the long run since you will be out the extra part it will cost you. I did not get back to home to get the tracking number but it will be sent to them. I have another 8 days. Paypal only protects you from the part not being shipped. I can ship it the very last day they ask for the tracking and that would be all they would need. So this is what you get for being an asshole. and I dont care about 2gnt.com. You are stupid if you think that even matters. A new user id is a click away. I gave you options and you again want to be cheap. You can send it back for a refund minus shippings. Or you can ship it at this magical 10 dollar rate you think exists and save yourself some money there. That is the cost of the shipping alone which is a service you chose. I would make nothing. If you wanted a full refund you could have driven up here and bought and picked the part up. Then upon dropping it off again I would have been happy to return your full amt. Dont be an arrogant jerk. Suck it up.

If you read the feedback, as well as some of his other for sale threads, its kinda normal for him.

But there is a good/bad guys section in the marketplace, thats where most people look before buying.

Ok here is the issue everyone needs to keep in their mind:

The actual despute is rediculous, in fact I think Kballard is wrong here. This whole concept of I WANT MY PART NOW is bullshit. If your in a hurry it needs to be communicated well between the seller and buyer. Otherwise HIKE YOUR ASS TO A PARTS STORE. This is a very common issue here on 2GNT and this is where a lot of little pissing matches start. If you want your shit the next day then pay the 50.00 extra to ship it. If the seller agrees to ship the part the next day but isnt able to due to an issue at home, get over it because that is whats called a foreseen difficulty. There isnt a store that agrees to ship within 24hours and why the hell should you expect someone here to?

Frankly everone here needs to really dig there head out of their ass. Your buying off a web site, not a retail store.

ok well im not wrong you see because I asked him to ship it out as soon as possible which would have been 2 mondays ago. UPS ground would have had it there by friday or monday the following week when i finsihed my car. I didnt need it the next day, i needed it by the end of the weekend. NOW, its been 15 days and still no package.....so tell me how im wrong. I never once said I needed it NEXT DAY. And plus when you dont get any communication from the seller in a week at all, what do you expect but to keep shopping elsewhere. This email wasnt intended to see whos right or wrong.....it was intended to show you how some people are and how they feel about our site and you guys.

ASAP is not a number of days. ASAP means different things to different people. You prolly have no package because he had it recalled. 10.00 to ship it is a joke too. no such thing. Last one i shipped ground was 25.00 from IL to Ohio. Issues like this are the reason i want to get rid of the BST section and make you go through ebay.

Well, going back to the shipping issue, it just so happens i had another incident where i bought a black charge pipe for my turbo last monday and it just finally showed up today. Only 9 days later. And the funny thing was it was shipped priority mail 2 days ago on this Monday. Is there anyone here that knows how to ship an item once its paid for? I mean come on, when you buy something, you expect it to be shipped out sometime this century dont you?
