Wouldn't it be less hassle to drop that tin can and ride a lawn mower? I mean, you'd probably get wherever you were going faster that way. Plus you could make money on the side too.

It's probably not even worth the money to change the front clip on one of those. It's a long process that takes a lot of measuring and skill to do a good job. For how safe it will be, it all depends on the shop that does the job. If they do it good or not.

Sell that shit box. I have to replace the valves in those heads like once a week on customers cars, because the motors misfires because the fuckers cant even seat right.

If the front clip needs to be changed then you looking at a totaled and rebuilt title. You will need a shop that has a rebuilder's license and you will pay additional just for that reason. Not worth it. If it was an antique where the whole front end actually bolts up then it would be a different story.
