I haven't taken delivery yet as I'm waiting for it to clear customs. I was wondering if anybody has one or has heard anything about them. It has the 2.4L w/ the CVT tranny. I've heard bad things about that transmission but also a lot of good things. I didn't want an evo so please don't tell me I should have bought one of those instead. Hopefully it will be a good car as I needed fuel economy along with a great warranty. The new lancers have both. I guess I will keep you guys posted on whether or not this was a good investment. It definitely looks sharp though. I'll put some pics up when I pick up the car tomorrow or Tuesday. Just thought I'd share my news. (BTW the one below isn't mine.)

Congrats, but I hope you're really not looking at this as an investment. The only Mitsus that hold any resale value at all are the Evo and the 2nd gen GSX.

Anything over 500 bucks is an investment to me. But no, I don't look at it as an investment in the regard that you are. Thanks though.

I'm going back to school and wanted something relatively cheap with a good warranty and good gas mileage. I don't need another sports car. Between the eclipse and the mustang I'm set. I just picked the car up yesterday and its pretty nice. I love the navi and bluetooth features and with the 2.4 it moves pretty good for an entry level sedan. I'm getting the windows tinted this morning and I'll snap a few pics of it this afternoon after I pick it up. I'm not sold on the CVT transmission yet but I'm sure I'll get used to it. The car has to last through grad school at least. I traded an '05 Lariat F-150 crew cab on it so basically I just cut my payments in half which was very nice plus I got a 4% interest rate. Anyway, pics later!
