I recently took some photos of my best friend's 2000 V6 Mustang. It's pretty nice for how much he payed for it about a year and a half ago. $5,500 with 55,000 miles, 5spd, leather interior with Mach system. This is what he has done to it so far...
http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=279471

1. Billet grill
2. Cobra R hood
3. I forget what year, but Cobra R wheels
4. Cooper tires, I forget the size, but he has slightly wider tires in the back.
5. Dropped like a bitch... 2.5 or something, rubs everywhere.
6. Custom dual exhaust
7. K&N drop in filter
8. We moved the spoiler back an inch or so.
9. Noisy TOB emoji

What he plans on doing in a few months:
1. window tint... I photoshopped the tint on the first picture, the Mustang guys didn't notice one of the photos didn't have tinted windows.
2. He wants to have the mufflers cut and welded right under the front two seats, instead of under the rear bumper.

Well, that's about it. I know he's a poser for having all this shit done on a V6, but who are we to call if we put turbo wings, GST/GSX rims and turbo mufflers on our cars? I guess it's just easier to distinguish a V6 from it's other brethren and to knock them about it. But you gotta admit, it's nice for a V6. emoji

::EDIT::
He has the cloudy Mustang headlights, like our 2GA headlights. This weekend we'll be wetsanding them. emoji

That comes standard.

I paid that for my 99 GT this time last year, except it had 132k miles. I moved my spoiler back, too, but have black bullet deep dish rims. I need to install the 2001+ headlights that are in my garage, but they have overspray on them and I'm too lazy to clean them up. And I still need to do something about my wheel gap.

No offense, but I just don't see spending money on a v6 stang. For the money spent, he could have bought a v8...

True... he just wanted this car to look nice and he pulled it off. His next car is a GT.

not a fan of the drop, he should at least boost it, with the money that he spent in those mods he could have pieced togather a kit.

The drop looks a whole lot nicer in person. These cars are lifted like 4x4s from the factory. Although, I'm not a fan of how he went about lowering it... lets just call him a ricer.

The hood brand new and primered is $400. He traded his factory hood and some cash to a friend for the Cobra R hood that was already the same color. The wheels were purchased for $700 and I'm not sure how much he payed for the tires. The grill was $150 from the dealer. The exhaust was $300, however, that was a birthday gift from the parents. I forgot to mention a Steeda short shifter for around, eh, $150 or so.

Unfortunately... that's the one thing I dislike about his car, the ride quality... and that it's missing 2 cylinders. emoji

Well, Shelby's making a s/c v6 mustang (maybe). I'd love to see that thing out and about with a snail under the hood. I could imagine getting spanked by a puny v6 and trying to figure out what the hell happened.

He couldn't afford to buy one, nor pay for the insurance. He's just a college kid wanting a nice looking, slow, car. He's not much for performance with his car... until he gets a GT. But he appreciates all the comments.

Werd. Another one of our friends has a 2004 Anniversary Edition 3.9liter V6 and she just recently got dual exhaust for it. The damn thing sounds like a V8, but I think there's a huge ass glasspack in the thing... probably two of them.

Haha, I would also love to see that thing. However, I doubt anyone would like to purchase the lowend version of the Mustangs even with a supercharger when it comes to performance, as the Cobras and other V8 models will be plenty faster in the longrun.

Mustang guys are such assholes. If it isn't a V8, it sucks. I used to waste V8 Mustangs at half throttle in my almost stock Talon. emoji

I'm going to get a V6 Mustang, twin turbo it, and leave the body completely stock, even down to the V6 wheels. That would be a lot of fun to take to Mustang meets.

Carroll Shelby supercharged V6 mustang. Supposedly 350+ hp.

The air dam looks photo chopped, though, in the second pic.

That's only 40 HP away from the 03/04 cobra.

Well, fuck me up the ass, that is mighty darn fawking cool. All I had in mind were the current V6 models, nothing changed about the exterior, just with the supercharger. That's a cool V6!
