#31574, "Where do you get your used parts?"

First off I use craigslist alot. It has helped me quite a bit on my project GST. In the last 3 months I have picked up My GST for $700 My Evo Mr rims for $400 And as of last night A set of full tein flexs for $500 damn I love craigslist. So besides 2gnt.com where do you get your shit.

Sunday Is my last day working on the GST to make it my DD teins go on my safc, exhaust mani/oil return gaskets and the T28 turbo. Sounds like a full day. I cant wait.

After I have been driving her a month or two
FMIC I already have a greddy BOV to go on thanks mike
When I find a 97+ rear bumper she gets a paint job.
Paint rear calipers
Find leather front seats
Exhaust
Edfc for the teins
Injectors/fuel pump

The list is still long but everything can be done without losing the car for days at a time, not counting paint. Im planing on a full write up on my build in a few weeks.

We will build you bigger and stronger

Here.

Ebay.

Members of my local scene.

Speaking of my local scene members, i saw a buddies red ef hatch infront of advanced auto with the hood propped. Turns out, he was trading a guy for a mustang straight up or he won the mustang....something like that. I dont think it was a fair trade since mustang > beat to shit ef hatch with a few bolt ons. But whatever, this guy has been telling me about this mint gst that needs a motor and tranny ever since i walked into advanced ordering parts for my car last may. $500. I have half that now. I'm debating wether i should dump more cash into my 2gnt since i already have alot of my turbo shit for it or just stop now and work on getting this gst. I know where most of the 2g turbo dsms are in my town. It's strange because none of them are driveable except for 1 talon and he doesn't even live here.

Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....

It's got a six bolt. It just needs to be assembled. They took it apart and were going to stroke it to a 2.3L but backed out of the project so the car sits. There are VERY few knowledgeable dsmers in my town. Me being one and there's probably two or three more. Everyone else slaps bolt ons on honduhs or has a 420a eclipse with a kit, rims, rice stickers and an airplane wing. The few turbo dsms in town have either been sold or wrecked. It's sad really. There's an awd 2g talon, awd 1g talon converted to nt, fwd 1g nt talon, fwd 2gnt and a v6 avenger at one of the local junkyards. There are a few random yards with gst's and 2gnt's in them. It's totally feasable to have a 2nd gen gst that runs for under $1000. Just not right now. emoji

If you read my thread "women hate cars" and take into consideration my girlfriend and I are in the process of moving in together and starting a life together depending on eachother, buying another dsm is not in my best interest right now. Plus, my current project needs all the attention i can give it. The money i have now is going to a manifold, 12:1 fmu and a rear roll stop.

Priorities.
