#30055, "one mile long car jump" Dec-21-07 10:53 AM by Hedge
Hey, i thought i would post this because i think its cool. it happened about 20 minutes from my house and the runway is still there(not the ramp though) Its basically a video of a car trying to jump the st.laurence river in morrisburg in 1979. My auto teacher has the wing and a bit of the hood in the auto shop he bought for 50$ lol. enjoy.
I should mention too, very few people know this but the entire jump was set up by biker gangs, and the car was stolen a bunch of times to try to pay off gang debts. The guy that jumped is still alive and jumping cars somewhere in texas, he is like 70 and still jumps cars, thats insane.
Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.

the narration sounds familiar. twilight zone?
anyway...someone forgot to account for atmosphere when planning this jump. the angle of the ramp was WAY off as well, it looked to be at around 60 degrees. nice balls though
