Anyone know how to make a backup copy of the playstation 2 or 3 games? Considerign the price of said new games, it would be nice to make a copy of games I own to protect my investment. Not liek i would copy games I rented.

Is your ps2 / 3 modded, Terry? It will be a necessity if you want to play said games. For a tutorial on backing them up (PS2) go here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105 As for PS3, without a Blu-Ray burner, you're pretty much hosed.
I haven't looked much into it, but seems to be the best one I've seen for the PS2.

I modded my PS2 to have a harddrive that was capable of saving and playing *most* of my games. I found a cheap 200gig HD on e-bay and got a program from some website online called http://www.hdadvance.com/ and you simply save your game to your HD then keep in the program disk and it boots from there then loads the game from the HD. You also save the lens in your PS2 since it's reading from the HD and not a disk. You do need the network adapter if you have the old version, if you have the slim line you can get a USB program and get an external HD to use.
