Come on yall, where did everybody go?

I live in Murfreesboro... Rockvale actually, but close enough. Car is down for the winter while I re-vamp the cooling system and turbo system... she's making somewhere in the range of 500-600 HP.

My brother Matt (MFGRacing90GSX) also lives close by. He has a couple 2GNTs and 5 or 6 1st Gens... including a GT42-powered 1st gen drag car and a 4G63-powered RWD 240SX drag car that we're working on.

Our buddy Joe (BOOSTED ECLIPSE), with one of the nicest 2GNTs around, is in the area too.

Doug, last I heard from talking to matt, you guys were breaking clutch forks and trying to make something else work....

Yeah, we broke a few clutch forks on my car. The twin-disc Clutchmasters was too much for the stock fork. We would install a fork, get in and press the pedal, and it would immediately break. I ended up TIG welding support ribs into a new fork and it's worked great for about a year now.

Bring this car to Norwalk in August. If you can put more than 500whp down on Buschur's dyno, 2GNT will buy you a fat steak dinner at Outback that night. Maybe even pay your entry fee to the actual Shootout on Sunday.

well.... where would and/or could we all meet up at? I just want to get together and shoot the shit,(and look at everyones car) then see about getting together when the track starts up again. Is union hill still the place to go?

The hill is still the spot afaik. Unless everybody wanted to drive out to beach bend, but it takes a while to get there.

I wouldn't want to run my poor car anyway. I might break the slowest 2gnt record....
