I really need to get my eclipse moving again..well its been sitting in my backyard because last fall i threw a rod and i have been looking for a reputable shop to get it going again. I havent bought anything yet, but I decided i want to drop a new engine(or pretty damn close to new) in. I am willing to spend up to $4000 for the engine AND install. There is a mitsu dealer about an hour and a half away but i would rather not get charged out the ass.(i bought a 88crx from them, one of my not so good investments) I am located in Nebraska unfortunately and there arent a lot of shops around that i would trust. I would much rather have the work done who has worked on 420a's in the past. Also I havent decided on my source for the new engine for sure, so let me know what you have.

im in Nebraska! omaha actually
really depends on where you are in nebraska as to wether i can help or not emoji

my guy is right around town and does good HONEST work, and wont laugh at broken eclipses emoji
the only Mits dealership in omaha is TOTAL crap and will gauge the shit out of you.
if i need parts i use the 2gnt caps printouts and go to Baxter Chrystler Dodge. no hassel for parts and the kid to does is at the parts counter most of the time is mid 20's and is cool about bringing in the caps printouts.

look up LKQ in nebraska, they usually have engines at a good price.
hell if your close enough i can help you rebuild it and drop it in.
let me know if i can help

I am in York, NE. about 2 hrs away tops. I would be willing to travel to omaha. I would more than likely be able to get the engine, its mostly just finding someone to install it. What kind of prices would you be looking at..
