#29438, "had my first experience with my 1g in the snow"

That was the most fun ive had driving any car in the snow ever emoji

I have a 91 tsi awd, lightly modified exhaust, 4 bolt lsd, intake and a boost controller. 16" rims on pretty good tires. I took a quick trip to Mt Hood area (Timberline lodge) and it was snowing pretty good. I didnt see anyone without chains and eveyrone I did see had a Subaru or badass winter treads on.

I mobbed down a few forest roads that had no tracks on them for about an hour and got sort of lost but the car never once felt like it was going to get stuck, not even close even in 2 feet of fresh. I stopped to smoke a cigarette and it was dead quiet and snowing hard. A falcon or something landed super close to me and it was just a trip being out in the snowy woods with my 1g Eagle and chillin with a falcon.

Things I could NEVER ever think bout doing with my lowered, 18" low pro azenis turbo 2gnt!

everyone and their mom should have both cars

Dude. Turb. Talk about your zen moments. I've been in those situations before. Unreal. Yet so completely fulfilling.

Glad to hear you're still alive. Keep your ear to the ground over on Galantvr4.org. Lots of Evo/GVR4 guys up in that area who make regular trips up the Hood.

push button retractable stud tires? haha thats sweet!

I use cooper weather masters in the winter which are pretty gnarly tires, and they are studdable. push button though, thats pretty snazzy.

I think, if I needed studded tires, I'd make something like these...

With them, a stock, SOHC Neon pulled an AWD Audi out of a snow bank... on ice. emoji

Definitely want to get up that way before too long, turb. One of my favorite parts of the country.

Haha. OMG what a crock of shit. That video cracks me up.

Question: Can ideas protect us on the road of life?

hahaha. Answer: NO

Having grown up in Colorado driving on ice and snow my whole life I wouldn't spend a dime on those things.

that storms now over our way. Looks like we've got a couple inches already, my dad was called out earlier to plow. I think this is going to put a damper on getting my parts car today emoji

had so much fun the other day, I went back up in the storm, and got stuck emoji

dug it out a little and had my girlfriend sit on the back and we got out. It was snowing pretty hard and I had to stop on a slight uphill to wait for this van in about 8 inches of icyness. Other than that it was a winter wonderland and I did see a Galant VR4 that wanted to race or something, lol. My girlfriend quickly clowned on it, saying it looked like an old toyota.

haha emoji

DJ, you're a penguin and you're lookin for a dime, that's top of the line.

Cool beans. I'm so jealous. Sounds like a picture perfect time you had.

I'm looking. I'm about to check out a talon i spied down the road from my gf's house that's just been sitting and sitting and sitting. Paint looks in great shape and shines but the weeds growing up around the bumper tells me it hasn't been driven in a while.

I think i'll check it out monday and see how much i can talk the owner down if they'll even sell it. I pray it's turbo and i'll drink piss if it's awd and i get it for under $1k.

Cross your fingers for me.

Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....
