It feels good to have a PC with enough hard drive space to run Gentoo again. Now I just have to get back into the swing of things as it has been about 3 years now since I have been able to run any form of Linux on a desktop.

Any other Linux guys want to chime in on what apps I need to check out? It's been a while and I know things have changed.

The new KDE is nice. Make sure you add win32codecs and hal to your USE flags. Set ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86". Install from stage 1

Stage 1 is the only way to fly with Gentoo. I'll definitely check into what you said Dino. I'm installing Wine while I am sitting at work right now.
