Before anyone goes running their mouth, talking shit and conspiracy theories about how they want to compete with us or some bullshit like that, I have personally spoken with Ludachris over there and here's what you all need to know.

1. Chris decided to implement a wiki for the same reason we did. The information on VFAQ, DSM.org, etc. isn't going to be there forever. Eventually, the owners of those sites will decide not to renew the domain or hosting and that will be the end of it. There needs to be an easy-to-use repository of technical information which is new enough that it will be maintained well into the future.

2. Nobody searches forums. NOBODY. But they seem to like using wikis these days. With that in mind, rather than read through forty threads where some idiot asks a stupid question and other idiots give their opinions, definitive answers and solutions can be easily accessed with a wiki. This is why we set up ours. Chris was excited at the notion of doing something new and exciting for the 4G63 and only discovered our wiki after the fact.

3. DSMtuners has no desire to compete with us. They know we are the source of the bulk of 420A DSM technical information and they respect us for it. They do, however, have a number of 2GNT owners on their site who want more 420A content over there and we can only speculate as to why they wouldn't just come over here for it. What we do know is, their efforts to include a wiki and more 2GNT features are done in the interest of taking care of their members. If it leads to smarter 2GNT owners, in general, I'm all for it.

4. DSMtuners is owned, operated, and maintained by people like us. People who eat, sleep, and breathe DSMs. Yes, there are a lot of dipshits over there, but there are dipshits everywhere, on every DSM forum. We've got them here. We've got a lot of them over here. But we're only 12,000 members or so. DSMtuners has something like 70,000 members. They have more than four times the members of our community. It's only logical that you're going to see more bullshit over there. If you think that the Site Team on Tuners doesn't care, or that hearing DSMers talk shit on their site doesn't bother them, then you're wrong.

5. This post is too long for something as simple as this shit. But it's worth saying. If there is one thing that makes the 2GNT DSM community look pathetic, it is uninformed asshats running their mouths about some shit they don't know the half of. So, to conclude, the claim of being "first DSM wiki" was made in error and Ludachris, owner/admin of DSMtuners had this to say.
