I'm sure you have all run in to this type of person before. I just wanted to share this little useless story to amuse everyone and hopefully get some responses. So I am a sheet metal mechanic at northrop grumman newport news and I was working on some vent today and there was an electrician working in the same room as me. Apparently he thought that because he knows ohms law and how to read a multimeter that he is soooo much smarter than me. So he proceeded to dump some of his knowledge on me, most of which I ignored until... he got on the subject of physics. Physics happens to be a favorite subject of mine. I aced it in school and I study it on my own (yea nerd i know). So this guy is trying to disprove Einstein's theory of relativity. I listened and patiently waited for him to finish. Then I freakin schooled him. It was very amusing as I started to explain to him things about physics that he would never dream of in his life. So yea this is a very pointless post but I just felt good about schooling this guy and making him second guess who he tries to tell his little "facts" to.
Sorry if I wasted 1min 12sec of your time. I was just bored and wanted to share with someone.

Well first of all he was trying to argue with me on a subject of which he knew nothing about. He told me that time does not exist and it is a figment of our imagination. I disagreed and he asked me "well what is a year then?" I simply replied that it was the time it took the earth to revolve around the sun. And his argument to that was "well why don't they call it a revolution then?" This was just a silly response to me. Anyhow, after he finished his little rant and I started to tell him about how scientists have partially proved the theory of relativity, he was just trying to ask stupid questions to confuse me. He eventually got mad and left the room. He came back about a half hour later with a monster energy drink (he drinks like 3 in an 8 hour work day)and started to talk about pygmies. This guy is just filled with useless knowledge. Apparently so am I judging the 2 previous posts. I guess it was one of those things where you had to be there to hear the whole conversation. That and I am just bad at trying to tell a freaking story. (if you couldn't tell. I think I'll just stick to answering on posts from now on)
Sorry for waisting your time guys.

usually if a jackass starts talking out of his ass about something I'm very knowledgeable in i just egg him on to sound even stupider. then i ever so indiscreetly point out how he really has no idea what he's talking about.. or just let him think he's a genius on the subject to further embarrass himself in the future.

Physics rules, keep nerdin' it up bro. I guess the guy just doesn't understand that there is no such thing as absolute time. Next time try discussing Friedmans assumptions/models or the cosmological constant; See if you can make his head explode.

This guy is just filled with useless knowledge
so are a few people here.
You just wanted to inform us that you have way too much time on your hands, thats ok we got the point. I never took physics, Found it boring and took auto shop......lol
Here is a good quote you can use on the next "genius" you meet: "I am not about to get into a battle of wits with an unarmed man, waste someone elses time." You know that since you are "just" a sheetmetal worker that you MUST not be intelligent right?

Thanks for all the input. And thanks for waisting your precious time that slows as you approach the speed of light, with me. I may definitely use that quote next time Star. Thanks for that. And in response to Fallen: Physics does rule. It rules everything. LOL. Ok that was just nerdy there. Sorry. Anyhow what you suggested was pretty much what I did to him just not with the same subjects. It works wonderfully. And to Vegas: sorry. We can not surpass the speed of light therefore we cannot (as of yet) travel back in time so those 2min 37sec are mine to keep forever. muuahahahahaha. LoL

Actually the female Mosquito info can be used to further prove that women suck the life out of men.
