Haven't been here in months guys. How's everyone?! There is a guy locally selling his '03 Evo 8 w/ 31k miles, I showed some interest on buying his car and after some negotiating I was able to talked him down to $19,500 if I pay him cash. Its the "Blue by Blue" stock color which I think only came out on 03-04. The engine is pretty much stock, only mods are K&N drop in filter, huge Pruven FMIC upgrade, and 3" turbo back exhaust w/o cat delete installed. Inside, I saw a Greddy boost controller & turbo timer and a finely tuned Apex-i S-AFC also a Mitsubishi gauge kit that replaced the radio. Exterior-wise it has a full C-West full body kit, CF trunk, and all the doors are shaved/door poppers installed. That's pretty much all the obvious stuff I noticed when I took it for a drive. The car also put down 280whp on a dyno according to his sheet. What you guys think? Is it a good buy/deal? Are there any issues with this particular model that I should be aware of? We are keeping our 2 DSMs btw.

Thanks in advance!

You should seriously put your money into a retirement fund, I wish i did when i got home from the sand box. Instead i blew it and now have nothing to show for it. Just a thought.

fucken posh, that's all I can say. I hate that fucken place with a passion. We're left out there doing combat missions for 365 days everyone on BAF is enjoying life. Must be good to have a BK and Dairy Queen there. Hey whats the deal with that specialist from Pennsylvania that took a bullet to the head inside BAF? I know you were probably at camp cunninghamd, but no one fires a round inside that place without anyone knowing anything about it. Sounds very fishy to me. I miss Afghanistan sometimes.

Our team didn't really have any free time like all the AF guys that were out there. We didn't work out of Camp Cunningham either but over at Echo East not like the typical AF Comm guys, we're Combat Comm. We stayed at Camp Dragon and live and breath with the Army. All the fast food places inside the base are too freakin' pricey so I saved everything. Missed that incident but did he did that to himself or was it friendly fire?

we had 4 combat controllers with us for the last 6 months in the Stan. The first 6 months, all the air support went through me. Have mucho respect for those guys and the PJs.

That shooting incident was a female specialist. There's a conspiracy theory about it now. When she came home on leave, she told her parents that if something was to happen to her, they need to pursue and investigate it because she found out something. Needless to say, when she returned from her leave, she took a bullet to the head a few weeks later.

Do you have any pics of the car? Whats the mileage? sounds like a good deal if its a low mileage vehicle in great shape.

2 sets of injectors is better than 1 =)

Why is it tuned with an afc?

Well, military guys don't make a lot of $ ya know. So for $19.5k would it be worth it for me to buy it? How do you like your Evo? The seller which is in the military also is having twins and need to let his unfinished project go. Son.

well in all due respect he did refer to the seller as a kid, even though he doesn't know him at all.

they're both in the wrong.
