Ever start a project, then have to head out to do something... but by the time you get back want to continue but it's too late?
I started building a new cage for my iguana, and I got the base done, and started on the rest of it, but had to go to class.
I really want to work on it some more, but I have a feeling that bringing out my circular saw at 2:00am might piss some people off.
I could start cutting the fencing, but I want to get the rest of the frame done first.
I want to finish it tomorrow, but I have meetings all day until the night, and I can't do it then because we are having a party at that time.
So now, I have a bunch of shit in the living room and I see it and want to work on it more, but it's too late in the evening. I won't be able to sleep because my project is not completed and the plans will keep going through my head.
The iguana... "Captain Spaulding", will love the new enclosure, nice change from a way too small 10gal tank to a 16.5"Lx26"Wx36"Tall enclosure. Cost me $60 in materials for this endeavor, part of the reason for my not purchasing an UDP at this time.
‹totaleklipse97› so what benefits do i get from being ur e-boyfriend ‹Jen› uh... the honor? ‹totaleklipse97› somehow i guess i got that title now ‹Jen› somehow.....

Happens to us all the time. We end up starting one of our track cars after midnight at least once every 2-3 months.
It really pissed off one neighbor because they call code compliance for everything my dad does. He pulled his car into the front yard to wash it (city code says you cannot park in the grass, at all) and code compliance showed up within minutes.
He explained that he was washing it and didn't want to do it in the driveway because the water just runs out into the street and that is wasteful.
I say do it. What's the worst that could happen? Police come and tell you to stop? By then, you'll have at least gotten some stuff done.
**EDIT** +1 for pics. I used a large bird cage for my iguana. It had a 3x2 base and was about 5' tall. Problem was, I had two of those cages, 1 for Iggy, and 1 for the bearded dragon (Yaki Moto, or Yak for short).

Alright, I'll definitely post pictures of the cage when done. The iguana is not growing because he's stuck in such a small enclosure right now.
I couldn't take it any more last night, I ended up cutting out the screen using wire cutters, and I cut 2 pieces of wood with a HACK SAW! (never doing that again!)
Now I go to using a real saw to work on it more, and a powered screwdriver or drill instead of the hand screwdriver I used last night.

there was a bearded water dragon at the pet store the other day, I'd much rather have that than the iguana, that one looked nice, not like the turd that mine is.
