So i decided to sell my truck, and keep the money from the bike. I'm leaning towards three cars.

1. 2006 mitsu evo mr
2. 2008 mitsu evo X
3. 04+ subie sti

Anyone have anything to say about these choices? positive? negative? any info is a plus. Thanks guys.

MRs are incredible. The new Evo X looks amazing though. STI's sound awesome with aftermarket exhaust.

Hope that helps. emoji

Thats why i'm leaning towards the sti's a little, simply because of the exhaust sound. Seeing as they are all awd turbo, with about the same hp, and take well to mods, may as go for the one thats a little different.

don't bother with an MR. Go with a 5 speed...
hold out on a X until the bugs are worked out. (There's ALWAYS bugs. emoji)
STI???? wtf. and you want it just for the SOUND? emoji Do your homework, they DON"T compare to evo's as closely as you think and are expensive as hell to mod.
Different? I don't know where you live, but here, all I see are wrx's and sti's. I almost NEVER see other evo's....

I would say they don't compare as closely to an EVO only because the STI is setup more for rallying where an EVO is setup for tarmac. Both are awesome cars, but you are right. The EVO is less expensive to mod.

all STi's and WRX's sound the same... BORING! I should talk since the Legacy has the STi engine w/ a smaller turbo but Mitsu doesn't have a nice performance sedan.

Evo MR's are sexy. Sti's are far too common around here and all look exactly the same! Not to mention they are mega expensive to mod. You could always buy a 2003 Roush Stage 3 mustang emoji .. J/k thats what I want lol.

2 sets of injectors is better than 1 =)

Its kinda the opposite here though, i see 2-3 evo's daily. and about 2-3 sti's per week. I'm glad you guys brought up the fact that its more spendy modding a subie though, i wasn't aware of that.

Haha, i dont make much, trust me. I get bored with things easily. before the eclipse(first car while on the site) i had a pickup, and a 91 celica. The eclipse had too many problems, i didnt have the money to pay for them, so sold it off before anything big happened. The stealth was the same. I'm bored with my truck, its not fun to drive, and is now for sale. the bike was totalled emoji

I'm a mechanic/machinist for a company called Thermo Forming systems, full time at $11.80/hour, and part time at the city, as a DA II, which makes $14.62/hour. I pull in around $2600 a month, not great, not bad for a 22 year old.. I really want an R6, but the girlfriend/parents/grandmother keep telling me they really dont want me to get another so since i'm saving $220 a month in payments and insuranc on the bike, i may as well sell my truck, and save an extra $80 a month, and buy a nicer car.
