#26498, "Not sure where to post this...."

Recently I have been using the usps to ship goods to customers and members of other forums besides this one.

I have taken orders from many members here, while using the usps they have been taking way to long lately for items to get to peoples houses. While some haven't been showing up at all.

Now on the bigger items like the transmission I shipped out using DHL as my shipping company things are working out great.

I just wanted to write this letter to all the members here on 2gnt that I in no way am here to rip no body off. I don't make much money on the parts I sell I do it as a fun way to make more friends.

My main concern is the customers which some of you have noticed when taking to me on the phone. I tell the truth 100%, even when I know I could have made a few bucks.

For instance there was a member here on the board that wanted me to ship him a whole motor. Well I would have made money there honestly, but I couldn't find a good shipping company that I could trust and cheap enough to get there to him. I didn't feel I was helping him out, so I kind of backed away from the sale.

Now I haven't received and complaints yet, this is just me talking here. Only complaint I received was a piece I shipped was missing a clip...well guess what I will continue to ship him clips until he's happy..LOL

Anyone who orders parts from me does gain access to my home, business and cell number...and you WILL talk to me before you send money...or usually within the transaction at some point...unless it's a 10$ item...then sometimes I don't think it's necessary to bother you.

Well this was me talking....thanks for listening.

Yeah I use tracking numbers on everything...thanks for the advice.

And yeah I have had to use insurance before what a hell of a time that was.

USPS Sucks. They have lost 3 FCD's I mailed out to a couple of members and I had to make them new ones and re-send them again.

For instance, one member now, I sent one to him like 1.5 weeks ago, and the tracking is showing it being there Friday. this friday! They told me it was held at another office for 3 days...WTF!!!

I am sticking with FedEx for now, USPS loses way too much shit.

I'm not a fan of them, but knock on wood, they have yet to lose any of the reverse lights I have sent out. I don't like UPS and there's no fedex or DHL near me so I stick with USPS. emoji

Good luck to all you members that sell stuff on a daily basis. I sold a lot of junk that I had sitting in my garage a few months ago on ebay and I couldn't believe how picky buyers are. I had one lady put a dispute through paypal cause she said a brand new cell phone that I sold her was dirty, another guy waited a whole month to tell me that if I didn't give him his tracking numbers he wanted a refund, and after 2 months I got this guy bitching about cracks on the exhaust side of an old 13b turbo that I sold him for like 50 bucks. I don't know how you guys do it. Every sale I made I always expected some complaint to come back my way.

I sell (sold) new 97-99 reverse lights on ebay for a while. Just the round plastic housing for the bumper that everyone and their mother buys to do a 2gb conversion. I had one guy give me neutral feedback b/c "only one had the light socket" but I assured him that it wasn't even supposed to come with them and that he could just use the ones on the car already emoji

I havent had a problem w/ USPS yet. I dont like UPS.

If you need small boxes to ship things you can get them for free from usps.com

The boxes say priority mail on the outside but you can turn them inside out and send standard mail. emoji

Well of course I'm pissed that you didn't send me the clip and have given you plenty of time to correct the problem with no bad feedback or anything. I listed a WTB add that specifically said in bold print that I need a Radio Bezel in mint condition with ALL clips. I already have a radio bezel in mint condition, I really just needed the clips and they are hard to come by thats why i paid you $20 for some clips!, so you can Imagine why It might push a nerve when I pay 20 bucks for clips and you say you got me covered then don't even send them all. I am understanding though, so I just asked you send the missing 1 clip and we would be cool. Here is your response which was grreatly respected by me:

Originally posted by RedLineInc07Well first let me start by saying I didn't realize...I"m going to pull one off my personal car right now...top black extra clip comming your way...anytime you buy something from me and your not happy I will try my hardest to make things right...please excuse this issue and a clip is comming your way asap.

And I will be sending some of your money back for the hassle

thanks again

That comment was made on July 28th it is now august the 9th it has been 11 days and I still don't have my clip or a partial refund (which by the way I never asked for or wanted I only want the clip)
So the fact that I have been understanding through all this is by far a good steward on my part, because not only did you not send me what I posted and paid for, but you still havent corrected it yet and I'm still not mad, just waiting on my stinking clip for goodness sakes.

I think you just need to slow down take your time and pay more attentio to what your doing. you even sent me someone elses tracking number on accident before you ever sent my item out. You need to package your items better even if it requires you to charge an extra $1.50. You sent me what you called a "mint" radio bezel in a thin paper mailing envelope? If it was mint you cant expect it to stay that way shipped in one of them lol.

Man, I wish I had the one clip you need but I don't. It's really frustrating when your working on something and need that one last piece to finish. I know it's a different kind of clip but I imagine you must be fuming like this guy over that one last clip.

When I spoke with Dean about a week or so ago about a speed sensor harness that I needed, he seemed very helpful and he wanted me to get the right harness so bad, he is sending me the full engine harness so I can find the one I need haha (which I will send it back when I get the one I am looking for). I am still waiting on it to come in the mail, so I will reply here once I get it.

Yeah, I bought a transmission from Dean, he was helpful and was very nice about everything. Gave me a tracking number (DHL) which is awesome.

Only one thing, I was promised my transmission by the 6th at the LATEST. Now its the 9th, and it still isn't here. Now I understand that its a decent size package and everything, but still. Makes me kind of nervous about its whereabouts. The tracking number has told me its in OH for the past 5 days.. Anyways, ill let you all know more once its here and I check everything out.

I'm trying my hardest to make people happy here...LOL I will always try my hardest to...like the guy that needed the few wires and I"m sending him the whole wiring harness so he can cut off what he needs.

I will always go out of my way to make sure everyone I sell parts to are 100% happy.

The little black clips on the actual radio/hvac bezel. I was not saying the tabs won't hold up, he sent the whole freaking bezel in a paper envelope lol. I already said hes a nice guy and he seems to be TRYING to help. It's just the fact that no matter how nice you are, you still need to hold up to your word and do what you say your going to do. Its been 19 days since I paid him and its still not here. There is obviously a problem somewhere, I just think he needs to find out the problem and fix it, since apparently there are many people with the same issues. The truth is plain and simple, he seems like a great guy and is extremely helpful, but when it comes to delivery he falls a bit short. Once again let me repeat myself, its not like I'm really mad about it, I just don't need false statements like the one 11 days ago that the clip is already in the mail and on its way. If something is holding you up and you can't get it to me for 2 weeks, then just let me know. I'm getting married in 1 month I understand how life keeps you busy, believe me.

Nothing is holding me up.
And there isn't a few people here with issues, the transmission was shipped a few days after payment. I gave him a tracking number the next day or two I think that is quick service.

And I can't help the shipping companies ship any faster, I'm sorry..
