I uploaded a video and embedded it into my buddy's website, like I always do. He's complaining that it won't show up. I've hit it on several computers with FF & IE and all work:

he probably doesn't have Flash, or has a version of flash that won't work with that video. i hate flash so i don't install it, but i can see where there is supposed to be a video.

I guess it's flash, it's just a wmv file, so it should play it with media player. I have flash blocker in my FF and it plays without asking first, so I assume it doesn't use flash.
He said it showed up for a little while, now it isn't working.
Guess I'll give the typical 'clear cookies and history' answer and see what happens.

I'm using the newest version of Firefox, even with scripts disabled I don't see the vid. I see where it's supposed to go, but no player and no vid. Sorry Luke. (oh I tried it with and without scripts enabled, didn't work either way)

If it's WMV, it might be media player incompatibilities... because i certainly don't have a plugin for that, being a Linux user.

Did you try IE?
PS I had the same issue at work just now, until I opened it with IE, then both browsers worked fine.

It works on IE just fine. When I open it with FF I get a prompt. I closed it before I realized exactly what it said. I think it was an invalid plug-in issue. I'll check my settings on FF and see what I have disabled.
*edit: nothing major disabled that I can tell. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe he's in the same boat as me?
