Don't know if any of you guys were ever into dark shadows the series but those of you who used to watch it might be intersted in knowing that their working on the movie. I used to watch the revival mini-series that aired in 1991 and went to best buys the other day to pick up the 3-disk set and one of the employees informed me of the news and said that Johnie Depp is going to be the lead character of Barnabas. It's based on vampires so I don't know if Depp will make a good vampire but i'm definately looking forward to see how it will turn out.

Yeah man, tell me about it. Did you watch the black and white ones from the 60's or the 90's revival series? I always liked how they would add a crazy twist to the story and make you wait until the next week to find out what was going on. Always gave me something to look forward to back when I was in 5th grade. I did some searching on the net and found out that the show was cancelled cause of lack of support but it was mainly because the day after the first show aired, the gulf war started so most people were watching the news bulletins on many of the nights that the show was on. Sucks.
