On my way home from work tonight, i was rear ended by a 90+ year old woman. I was stopped, attempting to turn left into a gas station. She was going about 30. I was looking in my side mirror, and totally knew it was coming when i didnt see her slowing down. Scariest shit in the world, knowing that youre about to get rocked by something 6-7 times your size.

That really sucks man, sounds like you made it out with only some bruises.

My buddy had his Yamaha yzf600 not even 3 months and got jacked by a lady in her 70's. My buddy flipped over the bars, landed on her windshield and rolled off the side of the car to landing on his feet and then falling over. All this without a helmet, he came out of it with some stitches and a sore body for about a week. He got pretty damn lucky.

Ouch.

I'm so careful on bikes that it's not even fun. Still wish I had mine tho.

I'm alright, she hit me from behind, i did a half sort of backflip, landed on my melon, then my legs flipped me the rest of the way around, slamming my knees and toes. I've got a minor case of whiplash, torn up knees, messed up big toe(lol), and a really sore right knee.

I'm very cautious when it comes to riding. I probably could have squeezed into the turn before the cars drove by, but decided to wait it out, which it turns out gunning it for the turn would have been the safer option, haha.

I used to think that way about my crash, too. But if one thing were out of place as you tried to gun it across traffic, it could have caused you to be ran over.

It's good to hear another rider walked away from a crash. I'm glad you're okay.

Yep, got it about 2-3 months ago. actually on that drive home, i noticed the odometer read "999.7" about 30 seconds before the crash. I dont think it lived to even ride 1000 miles lol. Oh well, i wasn't happy with the bike anyway, time for something new. Something brighter. I might go with yellow so old people can see me better than black and grey lol

The funny part about it, i felt bad cause she was so old, but she pissed me off when she said her first words to me. Without even asking if i was okay, she yelled "Your blinker wasn't on!!", all i could do, was look, and point over to my mangled bike that the key was still in the on position... the blinker was still blinking haha

My bike was totalled after A dude hit me running across a nine lane highway at midnight last year. I flipped and slid 200 feet.
