I was flipping through the channels and a guy named Brent Rau (spelling?) ran a 2G eclipse down the 1/4 in almost 7 seconds flat @ like 200 mph


it was sport compact class, what kinda engine mods are they running, and are they burning gasoline in the blocks or something else?

I'm pretty sure he has moved to some kind of an alcohol based fuel like methanol or whatever. It's been a while since i saw what he has been up to. Last I checked he was running a 7.4 in the 1/4. You can find a lot more about him on tuners since it is a 4g powered car.

Pretty sure he is running a chevy tranny, go to youtube and search for some of his runs, there is about 20 vids of him at the shootout last year.

he's been running that eclipse for a loooooooooooong time, I'm suprised you just heard about him. I still have never been able to locate the details on what he did to the 4g63

Ive heard the name before, but never saw a 2G on TV runnin down the strip, especially at a flat 7. Id rather not know about him then go over to tuners :p

i saw the car personally during the autofest here in vegas 2 weeks ago...

the d1 competition was better, imo..

03 srt-4 13.130@112.47mph (n2o, stock turbo, 10/2003)

Yea, this guy has been 'round for a while. Don't hear too much about him though. I got a magazine a couple months ago featuring him, on an article titled "Diamond Stars Are Forever" been wanting to put that in my sig since then, I got got too many sig quotes anyways emoji
