#25522, "Short Circuit. Anyone remember this movie?"

Johnny 5 need input!

Ha ha, I thought of this when I was making a post, and thought that I would see if anyone else remembered.

Everyone should post movies that they remember from being a kid.

Has anyone seen the Garbage Pail Kids? That was crazy.

Howard the duck, The Goonies, Gremlins, and Ghostbusters were a few movies I remember from around that time when Short Circuit was on TV.

You mean Flight of the Navigator V? The one where the kid flies the spaceship.

I don't know why but Killer Clowns from Outer Space comes to mind when thinking about old movies I haven't seen in years.

Also Pink Flamingos. I don't think anyone wants to watch that one though...It's a John Waters flick. For those who know.

Compliance!

Don't forget Weird Science, fellas. Gary and Wyatt rocked the house.

Ferris was a god.

Mr. Rooney got his ass handed to him in Howard the Duck too. Even so, I doubt Ferris's sister would have been so smug if had done that lightning bolts from the eyes trick he did in Howard the Duck.

What about the good old days of the buddy cop flick? The original Lethal Weapon, Beverly Hills Cop, 48 hours. Those were good times and remain guilty pleasures.

Holy shit, Rad? I knew every line from every actor in that whole movie by heart when I was 7.

I wanted to kick some serious ass on my bike so bad after watching that flick.

Actually, the car in FB's Day Off was supposed to be a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT California (SWB, or Short Wheel Base). It was actually a replica based on an MGB Chassis. There were only about 50 or of the real deal ever made, making them worth around a cool million dollars.

Fuck it. I'd rock an MGB that looked like that. That's a sports car, right there...

A guy my Ex's mother works with owns that house in highland park. His mother lives in it right now and the glass room was in fact a museum of his personal cars. I have tried so hard to put my superbee in there and take a picture but she wont ask the guy to let me do it.

First person to name that movie gets points!

Damn that is old school. Only thing I remember about that movie was him drinking pop and using straws to make windmills. That's it.

How about No Holds Bar with Hulk Hogan?

I remember watching almost every movie mentioned. Movies now have a lot of special effects, but I would almost watch the old stuff more than the new.

LOL, "No Holds Bar" was like the dumbest movie ever made but definately old school. I definately agree with you that the old movies are in most cases are better than some of the new ones.

A few other old schools greats that haven't been mentioned are "The Karate Kid", the movies with Chevy Chase when he's going on vacation with his family, and "The Last American Virgin"

Hollywood Knights. Considering the cast, I'm surprised it isn't more well know. Kinda funny and some pretty nice cars...
