Hey guys, my girlfriend has a '93 Chevrolet caviler with the 2.2L engine and the head gasket went out on it, anyone know how hard the job is to do? New gasket and head bolts are pretty cheap.

I haven't done one, just looked under the hood. I would venture a guess that it is easier to do the head gasket on that than on my RS.

I can do them in about 2.5 hours at work. A first timer, I would bet it will be about 6-8 hours.

I can do them quickly because I have the use of air tools and am a GM Technician and done a lot. Most people dont use air tools at their house, so that actually does take longer obviously. If you need help along the way, just PM me.
