emoji I know, I know. I had to make a choice: Seat time or crew time. I had to fo with the seat time for once.

Besides, I wouldn't have been needed if the locals had shown up like they were supposed to. emoji

I got some seat time this past weekend...

Whiiird.

Josh - you should totally be looking to the rally scene with your skills. There are events all around you - Oregon, Washington, Idaho, etc. You could find yourself an AWD beater, build a hell of a cage in it, tune it for a super flat torque curve, and slap company art on it. Go play in the dirt. You can't beat it!

I guarantee you, Josh. Get one rallyx event under your belt and you will be hooooked. You'll be caging that RS with a quickness. Very good car to get started with. Take it out and let it play where it was meant to play, imo. Might even bring in some business while you're at it. emoji

EDIT:
You won't find this at the drag strip...

My first rallyx video. Methinks I need a video camera to get more footage in the future!

LOL. I know we're talking about two different things, but every time I see someone post up pics on the Galant board of their group rolling in Washington or Oregon, I get jealous. It just looks awesome up there. Maybe it's the lack of greenery down here, but what I wouldn't give for a lawn chair, a cooler of beer, and an open garage door on a rainy afternoon.

(sigh)

That's my buddy Eli. It's not a GVR4. Just a GS. He went into a turn too hot after a yump and snagged a front corner on a berm. Flipped the car end-over-end. They got it back together in time to run the next day (this picture).

And F1 guys lose it if they have a crack in their wing. Pffft.
